"Fantastic DMR. Maximum effective range with Elite Force .25g BBs is about 200ft, and it is incredibly accurate at range. On a good day I can get 10 inch groupings at 200ft. The rate of fire is so high that I generally stick to semi for fear of burning through my ammo. BUYER BE WARNED; this gun is wired for deans. Evike did not mention this at the time of my purchase.

PROs
Accurate
Long range
High ROF
Spacious battery compartment (I can comfortably fit a 9.6v 2000Mah, I would expect that a 10v would fit)
Pistol grip (I HATE the standard M14 stock)
Included red dot is very high quality

CONs
Wired for deans (I find that annoying, I had to have a friend make an adapter for me)
The plastic body is rigid but it feels thin
Heavy (not enough to be cumbersome but enough to make your arms sore after a few hours)
The rail sits a considerable distance from the rear sight. It isn't a problem when mounting a red dot but is totally useless for a scope. Additionally, the 'beaver tail' mounts that sit in front of the rear sight will not mate properly with the included rail, they sit at different elevations. If you want to mount a scope (HIGHLY recommended) you'll need to buy a side-mounted rail.
Only comes with a mid-cap (if you use full auto, you will empty it in seconds, the ROF is that high)
Mine did not come with the front sight/flash hider

Overall, 9/10.

"I've had this gun for about a month and it's amazing the scope included is very nice and just looks amazing on the gun. It's beyond accurate for an airsoft rifle and can easily hit a head sized target from more then 150ft. It has a good weight and as I said looks ridiculous in a good way of course. If you have the money and want a dmr or m14 just buy this no other option this is the best gun for the money and it will do everything you want and more.
PROS
_ accurate as hell
_ looks amazing and performs just as well
_rof is through the roof
_ good fps
_ scares people before you even use it
_ I can go on an on

CONS
_ absolutely nothing

BY THIS GUN YOU WON'T BE SORRY I PROMISE

"I built a rifle like that, using the G&P DMR kit and all.
I have expended 2000+ on the rifle to make it what it is right now. (its much better than this one, in many things i have to add)
This rifle WITH AN INCLUDED SCOPE!!!!....... is a bargain.... a real bargain.
A few hundred dollars in upgrades, and you will have a rifle everyone will fear and respect.
Everyone with a forehead two fingers tall, should buy this baby.

"An amazing gun! I bought this gun from my friend. It is light weight with threaded barrels for silencers. I also bought a bipod, a laser and a light. I upgraded it to 400 fps and the cycle rate is amazing. my magazine is empty before the whistle. this is the most accurate gun you could ever buy.

"I would definitely recommend buying this rifle. This rifle-$380, Prometheus Tight-Bore Inner Barrel-$62, and an Intellect 9.6V 4200-$75. And for $517 you have probably the best DMR on the field.

"The gun performs like a champ. I must warn, this gun IS heavy if you are out of shape (like me). Another problem is the length, maneuvering is gonna be difficult (especially if you only have on your own gun). Still, I would greatly recommend this gun to anyone as the reliability and compatibility make up for this. this gun is well worth the money.

Pros:
durability
Great Rate of Fire
Good Hop-Up

Cons:
internal Parts Compatability V7 only (pistion, Center Gear, Tappet plate, and spring Guide) hard to get individually only in bundles
Shot almost too hot for my field at first (419 fps) 420 is maximum it 15ft Minimum Engagement Distance still shooting too hot after 2 games of play
Mid Cap Mag is a little hard to get in But Cyma Mags work perfectly

Overall: I had a blast today with this gun. I believe I ended the day with 8 kills in one game and 0 deaths. This gun is great for sniping Defiantly worth the investment. This gun will not let you down. I recommend buying a few extra mag and an extra battery,

And for Good accuracy get a Prometheus R-Hop Barrel and a flat hop

"Ok, so. Here goes.

I've had this gun for a bit over a year. Overall it has performed swimmingly, despite a few design flaws which I will note below. First note that this gun is both long and heavy (about 4 ft/14.45 lbs). This weight despite that all of the outer receivers/housings are plastic (except for the butt pad, which is a comfy solid rubber). I am 6'2" and 260-ish lbs, and this gun works great and is a good size for me. My brother at 6ft/200lbs is also ok with it. One of my good friends, though, maybe 5'8" and 150 lbs struggles mightily with it, while my sister (a wiry 5'6", maybe a buck-10) can barely hold it up. Just food for thought. In all cases, this is a gun for stability, not mobility. Go with the G&P M14 Recon if you want to move a bit more and still get great range/reliability.

Pros:

-Fantastic range. When I have a good position I can watch players trying to shoot me and see their BB's just drop out of the air well before they hit me, but I can reach out and touch them just fine. This is out-of-the-box, no upgrades, running a 7.4v LiPo.

-Deans connector/LiPo-ready. The internet tells me this is a good thing, anyway. It was definitely nice to just plug in my shiny new LiPo before I even knew the difference in connectors/etc (note: this package does not include a battery).

-Easy-access battery compartment through the butt pad inside the stock, with tons of space for most any battery size. Keep a stubby standard screwdriver on hand for the easiest access. Also, please see my "con" point below on the sling mounting rings for more details on how exactly this works.

-Sturdy. I am usually acting sniper, so I low-crawl around and slide with this thing all the time to keep cover or from getting spotted, and hasn't bothered it a bit. The only kind-of annoying part here is the slide handle that sticks off to one side, can get in the way or get caught on stuff, but is really only for show (i.e. serves no purpose on this gun-- wouldn't be annoying if it had an actual reason for its existence). In fact I might hack it off, now that I'm thinking on it.

-The iron sights are sturdy and work great, but not much point in trying to use them, considering that they are precision sights and you are flopping a lightweight plastic BB out an unrifled barrel at low speeds.

-Supremely easy disassembly. Just pull the trigger guard out from the handle and unclip the clip in front of the forearm. Same as any m14.

-I love LOVE the safety on this gun. Simple, sturdy, efficient, and I only have to flick my index finger to take it on or off.

-I cannot stress enough how well this gun works overall. I'm going to go into a lengthier list of cons, but don't let that throw you off, they are all minor in contrast with just how reliable this system it.

Cons:

-This package includes no instructions, manual, or even specs-sheet of any kind. Boo to Evike (or whoever put this package together, if it wasn't them) for not at least including something. I say this especially because this was my first AEG, so it has definitely been a learning process. Probably would not recommend this to anyone as a first gun unless they have someone(s) notably more experienced to help them along.

-Also boo to Evike for listing that this gun uses a short-type motor. In reality, it uses a long type. I only discovered this, of course, after I ordered a new short-type motor upgrade, took the stock m120 out, and immediately found the error. I guess if you doubt or maybe if there are variations you should check this in your own before you order a new motor.

-The motor in this is not optimal for this gun. It is a decent mid-grade high-speed (the G&P m120 high-speed), but as a DMR this should have gotten the G&P high-torque m140 instead of the one that comes installed. Since I use mine almost entirely in semi-auto, it has started feeding 2-3 BBs per trigger-pull on semi after (I have no idea how many) rounds going through. I saw someone comment below about something on the gearbox that starts slipping, but haven't gotten to check that out for myself yet.

-The optic that comes in this package is total junk. It was in pieces and inoperable out-of-the-box due simply to a cheap make and horrible design. I threw it away upon arrival.

-The sling mount points are weird. The forward one takes 3 separate pieces and is really tricky to mount, but overall works fine, just is a bit of a bear to work with. The rear sling mount, though, is of an absolutely horrible design. Mind you, when assembled correctly, it is sturdy enough and works just fine. The problem is that the only thing holding it in place is the lower bolt on the butt pad/battery housing cover. At the same time, the sling mount ring is the only thing holding that lower bolt in place. SO, if you take the pad off, the mount ring just falls out. This particular touch is really just a bit of laziness in the design, totally not cool. The way to get around having it all fall apart every time you want to access the battery compartment is to remove the top bolt in the butt pad all the way, but only loosen the lower bolt, so that the pad can swing open on the hinge of the lower bolt without the whole thing actually having to come off.

-The pistol grip is a bit small for the size of the gun (well, more accurately, is too small for the size of my hand) and, as the entire lower receiver is one singular piece of plastic, there is no exchanging or modifying it.

-The scope mount is too far forward for your average scope. I picked up a fantastic rail mount to go over the action on amazon for about 20 bucks (same function as the one here on Evike for 50). The only problem (and it's a notable one) is that to mount this new rail you have to remove the vertical clip guide (another holdover from the actual m14 that serves no purpose here). In order to do this on the real thing you have to take it all apart and punch out a pin from the underneath side of the upper receiver (it is a pin, not a screw you can take out from the top). Unfortunately, while G&P uses the real clip guide, they do not pre-drill the hole in the upper receiver, so you actually CAN'T punch out that pin. I ended up drilling the pin out from the top, though I broke 2 bits to do it. I highly suggest either watching a Youtube disassembly video and checking out an m14 parts explosion diagram before attempting to do anything here, unless you're exceptionally familiar with the platform already.

-Be careful with the magazines. They can fall right out if you haven't seated them just right.

These lists are definitely not exhaustive, but it's all the major stuff, and I don't think I want to write any more :p To reiterate, I highly recommend this gun, but only to experienced users and/or those with a good modicum of patience and a bit of tech saavy.
