"The gun itself is impressive and heavy. I love how it look and operates.
Out of the case adjustable stock refused to extend regardless how much I would pull it. After contacting tech support and them wanting a video, I just took it upon myself to remove the two allen screws and the stock all together.
Removing the lefthand side "ratcheting" rod and inspecting it there was a dent that pushed the material up causing it to get stuck. I had to razor trim and gently file the damage. Now it works fine. Yes, it was within warranty but I didn't feel like sending back a gun that is weight of a toddler. Also, when pulling back the bolt and looking inside I found a random light blue 6mm bb. I have never used or seen these type before! Looking at the condition of the case interior, booklet and even gun; this might have been a return or someone took it for a test fire.

"Bought this in black with the scope, arrived with box heavily mistreated, came with a decent gun case which upon closer inspection was broken. If you have spare cash and want to look cool sure go for it, I wanted this for a long time...and it definitely underperformed :(

"I bought one of these things a while back. Returned it about 2 weeks later.

Not only is it bulky, heavy, and awkward to handle, it's horrible in the accuracy field.

For the price tag this gun boasts, it is for sure not worth it.

"Ok what Chris said below me is 100% true. While yes this gun looks heavenly, i gurantee that it could be outmatched by a tm ca or tanaka sniper rifle with or perhaps maybe even without mods. I have the utg L96 and the tanaka m700( Im big into sniping). I modded them both up as much as i saw fit and made my l96 just look damn pretty. But guess what i have problably saved well over 6 to 700 dollars comparing it to the pricce of this and have two snipers a pistol and a ghillie suit with other things. Moreover its a bit ridiculous to pay one tenth the price of the actual gun to get an airsoft gun that problably won't work perfectly. So in conclusion while i love the cheytac and plan on buying a real one someday im not gonna buy this. Its just a waist of money. But hey if your rich as hell have a field day. But if your not trust me like anything when you buy it, it will get old eventually and you'll want something new so don't buy a 15 hundred dollar gun.

"If you are getting this, it will be that you just REALLY want an Intervention. The long and short is that this gun is pretty bad in the performance department, its only use is a wall hanger.

Here are the numerous cons with this gun:
Very low FPS for a sniper
Inconsistent accuracy
Upgrades are basically non existent (VSR is NOT compatible)
Very heavy (you are basically going to have to be in a small area on the field to "effectively" use this)
Paint scratches very easily
Bolt pull is terrible, it takes a lot of effort to cock the gun (not to mention that the bolt pull is short stroked)
Reassembling the barrel to receiver is a nightmare
Hop up is bad
Misfeeds/double feeds often
Orange tip is borderline unremovable, will need to spray paint it

"thank you evike they are doing a rma for me on this turd... reason why i say turd is because thie bolt broke in the first 15 shots. Also this thing is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay under powered for bolt action maybe be able to shoot 75ft.. shoots straight but not far. More of a living room hanging on the wall gun.

"I bought this with the CO2 conversion kit and it doesn't work, it won't even shoot. Took it to a competent tech and he was unable to get it working. Very disappointed in this gun, I was so excited then it didn't work at all. :'(

"What a piece of garbage. Things weren't looking so good right from the start. The box was pretty beat up and right away I figured I got sent a used or returned one. Opened the box, and yup, definitely used. Wasnt even the 6mm pro shop version that's advertised, was an old Beta version. I know they're basically the same, but still disappointed. Nice quality control there Evike. Was expecting a brand new gun like I PAID for. Didnt let that fully discourage me though, and I hate going the trouble of returning stuff. Did a full inspection, and assembled it with no issues. Loaded up the mag and went to rack the bolt back and that's where the first operational issue popped up. The bolt carrier is garbage. Theres so much friction between the bolt and the housing that it took about everything I had just to cock it. With some polishing, light dremel work, and some lube, I might be able to make it serviceable. Once again, awesome QC Evike. Only took a few shots before boxing it back up and all I can say is forget about any sort of accuracy with the orange tip on the gun. It doesn't seat the barrel end at all and leaves it free floating and bouncing all over inside the outer barrel. Luckily it came with the original and after struggling to get the orange one off (its glued and double pinned), I was able to get the original installed which centers the barrel perfectly. Didnt shoot yet since doing that, but I imagine that alone should help somewhat with the accuracy. Haven't shot it enough to comment on the hop-up, but if it's anything like the rest of the gun I'm prepared to be extremely underwhelmed. All I wanted this for was some backyard messing around since it's a monster and not realistic to play with. Its gonna take a bit more work just to get it decent for yard plinking though. I also bought the co2 bolt for it. So maybe that'll prove to be a little more serviceable once I get everything swapped out.
