"I got this gun and went with UCA to a big event about three days after. It works great and shoots hard. plus the shorter barrel and compact size helped me run in (and out) of enemy territory faster than others.
It comes with Hi-caps, so i would suggest getting some mid-cap, 100 to 150 rounders to increase realism. Its also just fun to re-load.
If you're like me, broke half the time and completely out the other half, this is a great gun for the price. G and G is slowly making a name for themselves.

Pros:
Good weight.
Shoots straight and hard.
Feels natural.
Excellent stock iron sights.

Cons:
A bit noisy, but only to the shooter. Look up some YouTube shooting reviews.
Mags may need to be taped in order to feed correctly. Once again, get some good mid-caps.

"Just got this a few days ago. Very nice solid weapon. I put an Eotech 551 replica and Rico Alpha 9 replica on it with Emags and it looks sick!
Pros:
Solid
Shoots hard
Polymer material
Crane stock is very comfortable
Looks
Accuracy is not bad
Grip looks cool and is comfy

Cons:

"Amazing gun! Highly reccomend to begginers and experienced players.
PROS:
Perfect for CQB
FPS
Monolithic rail system
Good weight and feel like a real M4 but not too heavy
Easy to put the battery in and take out(I am offiacially a fan of crane stocks)
Very strong plastic
Very accurate
PRICE!

CONS:
Mags are a little wobbly, but no big deal to me
To acces hop-up you have to manually open the bolt cover(I do not know exacly what it is called)I forgot! LOL!

Overall a very good gun. Good for CQB and I have used this gun in field and it is pretty good. GET IT!

"this gun is awesome! i got it yesterday, and i went out and burnt through a whole mag in like 10 minutes. i love this thing. this is my first aeg, so i cant compare it to other aegs. but it has a great feel to it, not to light, but not to heavy either. i also got a fore grip and a red dot, and it looks freakin amazing. the only problem is is that the front sight blocks my vision when scoping with the red dot, but i plan on getting a scope mount soon. for now im just using the iron sights, which are pretty good. another thing i noticed, is when putting the battery in the crane stock, theres a lot of extra wiring. i dont know if thats standard, i just didnt want to tear it. but other than that, its overall an amazing gun!

pros
looks good
weighted nicely
high cap mag
shoots hard

cons
front sight can get in the way
kinda hard to get wire in crane stock

"This gun is Great it shoots awesome with a 9.6 volt battery it is built very sturdy. A few bad things are the mag is kinda wobbly and it doesnt feed the last few bb's and the battery is hard to put in but other than that its great!!!

"G&G Combat machines are recommended as starter guns for a reason-they're a great value, and they're easy to upgrade.

I've bought two of these for my sons. Here are the cons, of which there aren't many:

Cons:
-Low Power: for CQB games this is ideal, but as a newcomer to Airsoft I wasn't aware what this meant on the field. If you play outside, get something else in the 350-450 FPS range.
-One of my guns was SEVERELY under powered because there was a leak around the hop-up. My son didn't like using this gun, and used one of our loaners instead. I didn't realize why until I chrono'd it at around 270 FPS. I had to fix this with a new Hop-up/barrel. Fortunately, the other gun was functioning normally and chrono'd around 340 FPS.
-I've been assured by a tech friend of mine that the G&G needs some fairly extensive upgrading from a durability standpoint. Adding a sorbothane buffer (and correcting AOE after) to the cylinder head goes a long way to preventing cracked gear boxes, but this is a pretty invasive fix and not for the faint-hearted.
-The motor is low-powered (which is pretty much standard in all brands)
-Changing the spring to increase power is not possible without cracking open the gear box, and not advised without adding sorbothane
-The gear boxes have a reputation for cracking

Pros:
-The polymer that this gun is made of is far superior to previous ABS builds. It's light weight (great for my sons) and durable. It's not the most realistic way to build a gun, but it still looks pretty good to me.
-Lots of rail space. If you get this for CQB, you'll likely want to get a foregrip and lights. You'll also likely want some rail covers to cover the spiky bits.
-Nice pistol grip
-Accepts a lot of magazines
-Plenty of room for batteries
-Good platform to explore doing Airsoft Teching upon.

So with the low-power gun, I decided to do a total rebuild while I was at it. Parts cost me about $150, but the results and learning experience was worth it. I took it apart and upgraded the gears, barrel, hop up, bucking, motor, cylinder, cylinder head, piston, spring, tappet plate, air nozzle, motor, wiring, and added a MOSFET. It's definitely overkill for a $165 gun, but I can always use those parts on something with better externals later if I want. Also, I kind of like the idea of having a beast in disguise, that is less likely to get stolen because it's, "Just a G&G".

"Just got this gun for my first airsoft gun ever, and I love it. I only had one issue, it was the port in the stock where you plug the battery in. For some reason when I opened it up the port was flipped the opposite way it was supposed to be, so it wasn't facing out towards the end of the stock it was facing towards the body of the gun. But, it just took a flashlight and some tweezers to fix the problem so we're all good there. Other than that, it runs pretty decent. I have yet to bring it to a field but I plan on doing so in this next week or two.

"Great gun. definetly recommend for beginner... but the mag is a little wobbly and doesn't feed properly, don't know if it's shipping damage or it just came like this.
by John M. on 07/17/2017
"Won't give it 5 stars because I have to use some pretty good force to get any metal/ aluminum gi mags. Polymer mags seem ok.
Seemed to do very well with my first time out with it.

"Absolutely amazing starter gun. I got one for my first gun and it's amazing in CQB. Only problem is the front sight. It's welded onto the gun. So I'm either going to have to get a riser or a new outer barrel
