"best grenades ever!
yea they take an entire CO2 cartrige per shot
yea the shells arent reusable
but you wont find a cheaper, sturdier, or LOUDER grenade out there
grenade is kinda big though...
but its all metal! except for the plastic shell that busts open duh...
the spoon is thick and sturdy and its attached to the body of the grenade so you dont loose it!
pin is metal and it comes with a spare!
it has a hammer you have to pull back thats kinda hard to do even with my skinny fingers...
timing was perfect out of the box.
all in all if you want a sound effect type grenade this is it no question!

"I use this product in real SWAT trainings as there is no fire risk. They are very loud, even outside....If the container is not cranked down they will leak air which works well if you are simulating gas deployment so Don't be afraid to crank them tight so they don't leak air. My only problem is they are slightly large than a NO.25 Flashbang so they dont fit in the pouch I have.

"These've gotta be the best grenades anywhere. They're crazy loud, easy to reload, totally reusable (besides the shell and cartridge, of course), and awesome to look at. And the best part? CHEAP!
Just saying, you could buy three cores and 36 shells, or one measly Tornado.

And, the pin-pulling action floors everyone within visual range when they see it! No burning my fingers with incediary pea grenades!

Okay, enough excaimation points, time for some bad news.

-The spoon is made of cheap metal (still metal, though!) and can easily bend if you throw it at a wall or other hard surface.
-The core is so much heavier than the shell, that throwing them can be awkward because of the weight unbalance.
-Sometimes the hammer does not full pierce the cartridge, and you look like an idiot holding an "armed" grenade.

Also, for a while these puppies were completely out of stock! Almost every site that Hakkotsu lists on their website had them out of stock. Many sites, even Evike, took them off of their site completely!

But anyway, these grenades are sweet, and it's easy to run through all 12 if you're careful.

PS, don't put stuff in the shell! It makes the "BOOM" into a "poof"

"This is insaine i got one thrown at me and i couldn"t hear anything for like five minutes. This is a great distraction and great for indoors and CQB.

"VERY loud as advetised. works great as perimeter alarm/ distraction device. When tested, the time to detonation was averaging 20sec. wish there was some way to shorten the time to 3sec.

"when thrown into a room this grenade is absolutely deafening. its simply designed and easy to keep the pieces together. i have hurled it through the air about 30 yards and it doesnt break. as loud as it is though you dont have to worry about injury. the only thing that comes out is a quick blast of air but no fragmenting. it is also a breeze to rig up as a trap, my roomates will never sleep easy again.

"These things are perfect for CQB, you can even add bb's in them just can't fill up the shell so it leaves that stupid rattling effect when running with these in hand. The PINE APPLE shells go off faster then then FLASHBANG shells.

In short if done right these pop in about 5 sec(s)... in doors these will leave a nasy sting in your ear.

BTW: Once you run out of C02 and thinking you will run into WALLMART to pick up "CROSMAN c02" they dont work with these at all. The top of the c02 is harder then what is sold on evike so the pid can't puncture it with one clean hit.

"This is a grenade that will complete your "operator" look. All you need are two of these and use them as flashbangs and you're able to clear rooms easily because people will be distracted from the noise. Worth every single penny. Add on a double flashbang pouch, I prefer the drop thigh type. I set one off and it was louder than I realized. Believe me, I won't give a review about a product I don't have faith in. These grenades are loud, perfect for completing your loadout. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5, don't need green gas because co2 is cheaper.

pros: Loud, able to distract, and shells are cheap to replace.

cons: if you're not responsible, you shouldn't be buying one.

"Possibly the single coolest hand grenade on the market right now. While it does not release bb's or anything of that sort it adds a whole new level to the game. When this thing does off it sounds like a shotgun blast. I would very much suggest this to anyone as long as they are responsible enouph to use it.

"This review is only based on the pineapple shell:
I have two cores with the same issues with pineapple shells,
I've had a lot of trouble getting these to pop. I've tried using the provided washers to make a larger puncture in the CO2 cartridge with limited success. I've also decreased the volume of this shell with cotton balls with little to no change. It's so hard that, it fails to pop allowing the gas to seep through the threads.
Other recommendations:
I recommend using the other types of shells for a guaranteed pop. The thunder devils will definitely pop, but have an extremely short delay even when eliminating the washers.
I'm not saying to not buy these, the other shells are great and the pop is awesome. Adding some climbing chalk and cotton balls add a cool little cloud, gives a visual for locating them with a "shrapnel" debris field and cotton is highly degradable in the elements.

"Light weight and an easy to hold shape. Quick and Loud Bang too. Would buy again.

"This ‘nade has saved my life a couple times from breaches. Just pull the pin and chuck it down the stairs. Great little grenade that can indeed launch BBs (about 200 FPS at most) if you fill the container only half full. My only issue is after the first detonation, the hinge for the spoon broke, so now the gas starts filling the shell before you even throw it. I would recommend getting a Thunder V instead as they are the new and improved versions of the traditional Thunder B

Just be sure to tighten that shell on tight!

"These things work and I rarely have one fail. While using these I have only found two problems. The first is if the core is not screwed tightly onto the shell it will leak and become a dud. The second is that the spoon will bend some times to where it will not retain the hammer. Solutions are to insert the CO2 cannister after securing the hammer and ensuring that everything is tight.

"Great grenade!! The packaging was great. Assembly was easy. Works amazing, especially if you fill the shells with a little baby powder for a smoke effect. The only thing is when i threw it the part that holds the co2 flew out, but it was a very simple fix. Over all great product.
