"this is same thing i did with my paintball mask .... only it cost me $10 for the crappy jt mask and 2.50 ish for the parts at radio shack. i say buy this if u want it pro looking or just do what i did. buy a pc fan and a little battery housing and some wire and boom ur done. my mask never fogs and im sure that this doesn't fog either. its a good design.

"this mask is perfect for defogging

one problem is that the piece that cover the battery can come off

"I got this mask like a month ago and I'd have to say it pretty good for the buck. The mask is light flexible, and comes with a fan--basically what everyone else said. The only problem is that is only covers the face, not the forehead or neck. Somewhat disappointed because I had to get a balaclava for some protection, but overall it was pretty swell.

Pros:
Cheap
Flexible
Way better than the rental masks for aiming

Cons:
Doesn't cover top of head or neck

"Great mask! I got this because I wanted to be able to see clearly in low light conditions and I also have glasses. My issue was that my GLASSES fogged up when i wore my other mask with the metal *mesh* over the eyes. I used these and my glasses never fogged up and it fit comfortably. Didn't even have to use the fan to do it.

The fan is a little loud, even on low. But it is right up against your face, so not sure how loud it was to others. I played with it off but turned it on as soon as I was dead during a Combat Medic game, and turned it off again when I was revived. You could feel the cooler air when it was on and i just used it to cool off while I waited.

The cover and battery compartment for the mask is pretty low quality. It is clearly "made in China". I had trouble putting one of the batteries in because the contacts were clearly too close together for the battery, but they held. The covers for the compartment have a tendancy to pop open slightly so you have to keep checking it and re-closing it. Nothing a little imagination can't fix but i haven't done it yet. But during the 3hr block of CQB, it worked fine, just had to manage the covers.

Overall, I would recommend this mask, especially if you wear glasses. For the price, its not to shabby.

"This mask will fit over even very wide framed eyeglasses which is why I bought it. It shipped on the 16th and arrived the 24th so no complaints there (8 days from CA to NY). The mask fits well, looks good and was packaged securely. My Only complaints are the battery compartments and the fan itself. The battery covers seem cheaply made and the batteries dont like to seat right but still work. when powered on (the fan will run on one battery, not sure for how long) the fan seems kinda week so I plan on using defog spray as well as the fan.

Pros:
good for CQB.
will fit anyone
built in fan
it feels solid and I'm willing to trust my teeth and eyes behind it.

Cons:
battery are seems cheap
weak fan
way overpriced but I'd rather order from evike than an overseas dealer

"This is a decent facemask, but the add is misleading. The fan is nowhere near silent and the strap tends to slip. But the Mask is very flexible and comfortable. Good for the price.

Pros:
Full face protection
Fan
Flexible

Cons:
Strap slips
Fan is very loud

"I really wanted a pair of fan vented goggles but couldn't afford over $100 for a pair so for the price I decided to give these a try.

PROS:
Fan works really well. It has two speeds and I had no fogging trouble even with the fan on low speed on a warm, humid day. As an added precaution I used an anti-fog wipe on the lens before playing.

Soft, flexible facemask is a big plus. It allows you to put your rifle right up against your face to sight down the barrell.

Clear lens provides good vision and wide field of view.

Adjustable strap provides secure fit even on a melon head like mine.

CONS:
Battery covers suck. If you drop the mask you can bet at least one of the covers will pop off. I'm still experimenting with what will work best to keep the covers on but still allow easy access to change batteries when needed. Probably going to go with electrical tape.

Foam padding on inside of goggles is not thick enough and not well adhered to the mask. The first thing I did when I received the mask was remove the padding and re-apply w/ super glue. Even with that I'm going to have to re-apply before next use.

BOTTOM LINE: This mask is worth the $30. Provides adequate protection and good anti-fogging ventilation.

"The inside Foam on the mask will come off after a few times of wearing the mask. Also i played with the mask for a few hours and didnt even need to turn on the fan, works fine without it but its also nice to no you can turn it on when needed. Finnaly the mask does run a little small i suggest a neckgaurd or another alternative im a pretty big guy 6'3" and well have a big head and it comes down just past my chin barly.

"My friend bought the Tan version of this mask a few months ago and he loves it. It has saved him from some potentially bad face shots. We play in a mostly CQB AO regularly where close up, aggressive shot take place. He and I are about to order the green versions because of headgear regulation at a local OP with a 250+ attendance.

My question is will this mask work correctly with a replica PASGT helmet or will it impeed the mask from seating correctly?

PROS: Fan is really quiet, even on high setting
stops painful face wounds
conforms for aiming down sights
Goggles never have fogged, I live in AR used them in peak HOT and COLD weather

CONS: kinda ugly, unrealistic appearance (only an irritation for MILSIM)
don't cover eads from side
people with long faces, MAY expose your chin slightly

"this mask is great but the goggles are a little small but im sure it won't make a big difference
by Tobin H. on 07/03/2021
"All the foam fell out and needed to get some real glue on em.
The fan works good.
For medium to small sized head.
Look at the lens the wrong way and it'll scratch, it's soft.
Not sure where to get a new lens
No cover for your forehead
Good for a loaner

"this is an ok mask. it get the job done. though the battery compartment always falls off, fan pretty much useless, your better off getting flakjaks and an iron face. youtube: flcgopro

"Now i may sound like a bit of a nay sayer here, but i took this mask to Codename THUNDER:VII and it did not preform well.

The mask itself is of good quality, its flexible plastic allows you to aim down your optics or iron sights unlike other paintball masks. The Fan and the goggles however not so much. I put the mask on and IMMEDIATELY it started fogging, i turned the fan on and it helped a little but i had to put it on high which sounds like a blender on your face.

Pros:
Easy to ADS
Relativley easy to breathe in.

Cons:
Fogs easily and thick.
Uncomfortable for periods of time like an hour or more.
Fan gives position away very easily.

"Just got these and I was really looking forward to them after the limited but positive reviews I've read about them. These things are so wide that for me- they are unsafe. The gasket seal is wide open towards my temples. I can easily fit my thumb between my temple and the goggles with them on which is really bad. I'm a regular build white guy, not fat, not thin and these don't fit to the point where I would feel unsafe wearing them. I don't know who would have a face big enough for these to fit. It's like the shape is correct but they are overall too large. I've owned many pairs of goggles too. They are stiff and do not flex so there is no way to tighten them to make them fit. I bought these to wear under a protec or IBH helmet and they are so wide that they will not fit with either helmet at all.

The battery covers pop open with the slightest movement and keep popping open even if you snap them down.

The fan seems good and has a high and low switch. I will never be able to test them because I cant wear them though.

The face guard can be removed easily and put back on. It is also very wide compared to most airsoft masks but is made of a soft rubber so can be cut if desired. I will probably keep that part of it, trim and fit to some other goggles.

Overall, I made a mistake buying these and would not buy them again. If they decide to make them narrower, I might consider it at $25 but wouldn't pay more than that.
