"I've had it for about 3 years and I would say it's good but not great.

Pros:
-The full metal feels great in the hand
-Its a good weight
-Pretty accurate out of the box

Cons:
-Every so often when switched into Semi Auto as you pull the trigger it doesn't fire it just makes a hard click. This only happens in semi and I don't know how it happens.
-Hard to fit a 7.4v LiPo in the buffer tube.

With a 7.4v LiPo it has decent trigger response and a decent RPS but nothing too special. I'd say its good for a first gun and ok for the price.

"So I'm a beginner to airsoft and I got this as my 1st m4 aeg. I like this gun for several reasons. It is full metal, looks great, shoot hard, shoots straight. And is very customizable. But there are several things wrong with this gun. The mag well is very tight and requires a little bit of force to get the magazine out. The selector switch on the right side of the gun can get annoying when it is on semi-automatic. NA the biggest complaint of mine is that the the buffer tube comes loose and the screw gets loose very quickly. The biggest reason for the is because the nut that holds the screw does not go in far enough to get the screw in a position to secure the buffer tube well enough. I fixed this but it requires some manual labor.

1st- I took out the nut and used sand paper to smooth down the sides and make the nut smaller.
2nd- Then I pushed the nut in as hard as i could to get in into the place were the screw can get secured.
3rd- Then i put the screw in and tightened as much as possible.
4th- Then i tightened the ring thing that is on the buffer tube. (IDK what that is called, sry)

Extra work may need to be done but that is what i did. Others have not as bad of a problem as I have and watch JetTheDesert Fox's video for more information:

Otherwise it is a great rifle and my friends who have polar-stars really like it. I recommend a 11.1 1250mah stick type battery though. (Do not get a long stick type battery because it will not fit, and small brick type battery's work great to)

"I bought one of these and my friend also bought one the same time I did. The gun functions great. My friend hasn't had any problems with it at but mine took a little work. When I got mine, the anti-reversal latch in the gearbox wasn't seated properly and I had to take it apart and fix it, but after that it worked fine ever since. When I was at the first op I took it to, I noticed that about every 10th shot or so, the bb would drop like there was no hopup, and additionally adjusting the hopup did nothing on my gun. I come to find out the nub was basically flat and the bucking was destroyed. I got a new hopup unit for about $15 and it's worked fine since. This might have just been a fluke on mine because my friend's doesn't have anything wrong with it at all. Otherwise, this gun has worked great for me. Since then I've mounted some M16 style iron sights and a solid stock and this gun looks like a short barrel M16A3.

Pros:
Durable, drop a few times, nothing broke.
Fits a good range of mags. KWA 120rd are a little tight but work better after being broken in. Evike BAMF 190rd works great.
Included Hi-Cap is quality
Good internals
Not too heavy
Shoots 300-320 FPS with .25s

Cons:
My hopup was no good.
G&P Evike 130rd Polymer Mags are extremely tight in the magwell
Barrel sticks out of end of outer barrel a bit, but not the flash hider
Flash hider came broken on mine (not on my friends) exposing the inner barrel
Stock is a bit wobbly and one of the knobs(?) came off when I put a battery in too far.

Since I've had this gun, I've upgraded the hopup, the barrel and the spring to shoot 350 FPS with .25s. This gun has lasted me a while and I can tell it's going to last for a long time

4/5 Stars because my hopup came in basically destroyed, again probably just a fluke or shipping company's fault, otherwise great gun.

"Well, it's been about a year and a half since I bought this gun, and I suppose it's time I write a review.

This is one of the best guns I have ever purchased. Like I stated, I've had it for a year and a half, fielded around 25 times. It can hit opponents at ranges where they cannot hit me, yet not so high powered where I cannot use it for closer quarters.

When I first purchased the gun, it shot around 200 FPS. Not good, so I sent it back. I received it again 2 weeks later with the same problem and a note saying that nothing was wrong. I beg to differ. I sent it back again, with the same response. Finally, I sent it back with a not-so-nice email, and it was returned to me with a fixed air seal, and shot at the advertised 370-400. And still today, I can constantly shoot at these speeds.

Another thing I like about this gun is that it's very customizable. The front sight flips up, so you can put a scope on it if wanted, as I did. The rear sight comes off with one screw, so I put it on the side and made a makeshift canted iron sight, which made room for the scope. I also put a grippod on it, which is extremely helpful when shooting at distances, and a laser on the side, just to make it look cool. The flash hider comes off by removing a screw, then twisting it off, so a mock suppressor can fit on, however I DO NOT recommend doing so unless you have a suppressor with an orange tip, or you are at a field and you put the orange flash hider back on when you are finished.

Overall, it's a fantastic gun. I've only had two problems with it overall: the front receiver pin kept falling out (easy fix, $5), and the buffer tube got very loose and I noticed the screw holding it in was put in wrong (another easy fix).

I would recommend this gun to anyone who wants to wreck the enemy team and look awesome doing so.

"Pros:
Easier to move in CQB than I expected.
Good rate of fire
Fire rate selector is ambidextrous
Included flash mag is actually pretty decent
Changing out mags is super quick once you get it broken in

Cons:
Sights only get in the way
Front sight bent the first time I flipped it up. Absolute junk.
Getting battery in the stock can be a puzzle until you get used to it.

Overall, I like it. I was expecting a much larger and heavier gun, and was pleasantly surprised that it was much lighter. It has been used in CQB and in some longer distance "woods games", and faired well in both. Definitely worth the money.

"really beautiful rifle, good internals, works amazingly with a high output battery and high rps mags, only one major problem with it, and mind you this could be just my experience with it, the front rail system screws can be jolted out of place which will cause the rail system to wobble uncontrollably and it just makes the ergonomics of the gun completely annoying. in any other case id definately recommend this great gun.

"I have to say, this is a very solid AEG!
I am getting around 150 feet of range with Elite Force .25's and hop-up tuned for flat trajectory. Evike must have heard previous complaints, as this easily outranges many other AEGs I see around.
Comes with 18ga wire, wired to tamiya small type connectors. Fuse included.

Crane stock internal dimensions (since they're lacking in the description):
Sides - 135mm long x 18mm diameter
Buffer tube - Basically useless, fuse holder is too close to opening to allow any conventional Nickel based battery in there.

PROS:
+Metal rails
+Not insane RoF. I can't be spending $100+ on bb's alone! (~15rps?)
+Metal receiver
+Metal gearbox W/ 8mm metal bushings. At least partially shimmed gears as well.
+Metal buffer tube
+Metal hop-up unit
+Metal High-cap magazine. Feeds nicely on stock motor + gearset.
+Sturdy polymer grip
+Rubberized butt pad
+14mm NEGATIVE threads (notice that the threads are negative. very important)
+REMOVABLE orange flash hider. No set pin, but definitely some kind of glue. (took some work, but got it off with a crescent wrench and a file. Still usable, too!)

CONS:
-Front flip-up sight is terrible. Looks fine when flipped down, but doesn't line up with the rail.
-Rear flip-up sight has a VERY tiny peephole, and the paint/coating has worn off after less than 10 flips.
-Charging handle attached to a plastic latch opener. Plastic part broke after opening 5 times, and I have no clue where I can buy another :(
-The stock sucks. Adjustment lever needs to be forced into position, and is made with a cheap feeling plastic. Still feels solid when latched.
-After removing the gearbox, the rear setpin comes loose during shooting. Some E-tape fixed that, though :D
-Trigger spring sends the trigger flying when in gearbox. Waaaay too strong, but gives a crisp trigger return.
-Metal on magazine is VERY thin, would feel like plastic if it wasn't cold to the touch.
-Included flash hider is very close to the inner barrel dimensions, could be hit by bb.

And that's my honest review. 4/5 for having minor issues, they don't influence the performance of the AEG. Really want to have a working charging handle, though...

"When I first received the gun the BB's (.20 gram) were only shooting about 20 feet. I shipped it back to Evike and they repaired the gun and the current range is about 40-45 feet, around 380 FPS, and about 10 RPS. Overall I am happy with my repaired gun and with Evike's ability to fix the gun in a timely fashion. Expect to replace the inner-barrel if you wish to gain maximum shooting range. EXCELLENT gun for beginners who are just getting into the sport or just doing minor airsoft tournaments (like me). If you are wanting to get into some major operations (EX: Operation Lion Claws) I would probably recommend a more expensive gun.

Pros:
- Good solid design with little wobble on the rails, sights, stock, and inner barrel.
- High FPS for the price
- The Engravings on the gun look AMAZING!!!!
- Can be loud if you choose to be inside a tight area.
- Very cheep and functions fine.
- Front sight flips down to become a part of the rail.

Cons:
- Had problems with pins falling out above mag well, causing the gun to disassemble.
- Problems with range before I shipped gun back.
- Low fire rate (compared to high end AEGs)
- Slight problem with inserting magazines into mag well, not sever enough to cause me any grief.
- Minor problems with inserting battery into the stock.
- Rear sight has a very small peep hole. Seriously recommend getting a new rear sight.

"Got this gun in from the Epic Deal sale on it for $145. The hopup was malfunctioning and the gun would shoot about 20 feet when the rounds came out at all. Sent it back and they "repaired" the hopup. Nope. Still broken (the third wheel in the unit isn't held on with anything and just keeps coming off).

I put a friend's hopup and inner barrel in to play while I waited on new parts and the gearbox works well (shooting pretty close to 400FPS out of box) although ROF is only about 9RPS with a 7.4V LiPo.

The crane stock makes it VERY hard to get a battery in.

So - Overall for the money I am happy with the gun but if you want to get one plan on at least replacing the hopup unit for something better and probably the inner barrel at the same time. I also plan on getting a new stock that has a wider opening for the battery in the back.

The overall finish and quality of the body and rail system is good and makes a great place to start while you upgrade it to your playing style. I am shortening the barrel a bit and putting a mock silencer partially in the rail for a slightly more compact gun.

"Bought this for the Epic Deal and What a deal Indeed!
This came from California and I am located in Utah, so when it arrived I think the Oring on was shrunken down, It had maybe about 20ft of range, so that was kind of a bad thing to start off with. I always reshim and correct AOE on my guns so it wasn't an issue of replacing it. Another note was the metal hop up, it was so loose on the barrel it barely stayed on, so I replaced that as well. Other then those two errors I love this gun.

Once I got the the compression right I chronoed it at 430 Fps with .2's. with an 11.1v Lipo it shot 22rps

Pros:
Full metal
Trades
Rail system
Amazing Fps
Perfect ROF
Crane stock
Metal hicap

Cons:
Bad hop up and Oring in my case
A little Heavy
upper receiver wobble

Overall I would recomend this gun to anyone, it might need a little work at first but it is worth it

EDIT: I Rhopped the gun and Im getting 300 feet of range

"This gun has a 14 mm negative thread me and my dad took off the flash hider and there is a thread just putting that out there a lot of people ask also I get on evike every day to check for a super box of awesomeness because I got this gun in my first box and I'm am very pleased with it it is sturdy and gets the job done
Pros:
Looks awesome
Metal
Threaded
Iron sights look cool
Sturdy

Cons:
The only one I found is the little caps on the crane stock are glued in there and they broke trying to get them out :.(

"To start off I bought this for plans to turn it in a DMR (Came out nicely btw ;D )but I will do the review on what I get straight out of the box for what I paid ($145) and I will go from the inside out.
Externals are not bad at all! I love the laser engraving on the gun gives it a nice beast look to it all metal and to my surprise very light and balanced. Two things that I disliked was the ugly flash hider and how much of a pain it was to get off and above the magwell has "MADE IN CHINA" I hate that... Other then that 4 out 5 for JG externals
Internally is sound for a JG they are usually a hit or miss I guess I got the pick of the litter. FPS I really nice but is to strong for most CQB fields but as time goes on that will drop or you can use a heavier bb that may put you in a good spot. ROF Meh not bad for beginners (High speed motor for better ROF) but trigger response is poor (Get a high torque motor for better trigger response). The Hopup just throw away and buy a nice Hopup system you'll thank me later. 4 out of 5

Pros
Looks sweet
Strong internally and externally
Feels well balanced

Cons
Flashhider
Trigger response
Hopup unit

"My son bought this on the Perfect Gift edition wave 2 Box of Awesomeness. Was very pleased on what he had received. One HUGE problem! The back of the stock there are two tabs to depress to open up the battery compartment. They were made of stiff plastic. After replacing the battery a few times, one of the tabs broke off. Still functions but would recommend buying another stock or replacement butt pad when purchasing this.
PROS:
Full Metal
Cool looks
Amazing fps
Great ROF
CONS:
Butt plate breaks easily (just buy a different one with it)
Front sight post is hard to see and wobbles some (with extreme shaking)
by adam g. on 11/14/2020
"Having an issue with the stock. It’s constantly coming loose no matter what I do. Next problem is the sling attachment completely broke off my 3rd time using it. The gun performs well in terms of accuracy and range but it still seems like it was cheaply built or maybe not quality controlled well. You’re prob better off spending an extra $100 and having a top of the line brand.
by Michael R. on 09/07/2020
"I ordered this as a starter because I will not be the only one using this. Although the rifle comes with a manual it doesn’t explain how to assemble the stock to the rifle itself and it came with missing parts. Thinking of returning it.
