"Get an A&K if you want a full metal heavier version, but otherwise get this if you want an M249 equipped with a 2500 round drum mag!

"I just got mine and had a few games with it, all in all I am very happy with it. I have ran into no problems with this gun, and whether it is a CQB or outdoor field, this gun always performs on par with a powerful look to it along the way. Works with all my A&K drum mag and M4 mags which is cool as my local field only allow full auto when you use a SAW. This is a great rifle for both beginners and for veterans. Gearbox is easy to work on and it is the same weight as an m4 with much more firepower!

"it's very good for a beginner AEG. The buffer tube is made out of polymer but very sturdy, and that probably shaves 12 oz of weight so it can be a positive thing to many people, but that is my only gripe, otherwise it's pretty awesome to have a M249 the weight of an M4. Gearbox is your Marui m4 with the quick change spring like the Specna Arms M4 series. All in all a great overall buy and I would recommend this gun to beginners and verterans.

"Pre-ordered this gun and got it yesterday.......Really love the gun. The para trooper model is very light. its very accurate and the plastic/polymer is surprisingly strong. The rail space is super nice, as i have attached numerous mods to it.... Overall the gun is built very sturdy and good. This is my new primary!

"Let's start with the pros!
-Awesome gun that turns heads and will make anyone staring down the barrel scare of you.
-solid polymer body with little flex
-great gearbox and doesn't require any upgrade

Cons:
-You will need to learn how to adjust the hop-up unit so that you won't suffer misfeeding issues
-buttstock pins are a nightmare to push in place, get your hammer out!
-battery will be the most difficult thing you can find for this gun but a butterfly lipo fits right over the gearbox without pinching anything.

I love this gun but there are some things you will need to work so that's a reliable gun, primarily feeding issues, I got mines sorted out but it took a little grinding and gluing.
not a recommended starter gun as a matrix m4 for $100 will be so much fun and reliable straight out the box!

"Good until it’s not…
Bought to use at a milsim event. Issues with consistent feeding initially. Realized you have to let it full auto for 10-15 shots to consistently feed. If you try to burst 3-5 shots at a time it won’t accurately feed with box mags. Feeds great with pts epm1 mags.

Surprisingly accurate with .32s.
Velocity right at 385 fps with the _400 Mofset para version.
Love the weight. Buy with knowledge that all LMGs have feeding issues with box mags, the gearbox will break eventually. I’m intending to either upgrade internals or swap to HPA.

Also it totally malfunctioned in the rain. Full auto for nearly 2min despite me not pulling the trigger. Happened 3 times and I had to stop using it.

"Got it love it. Only issue mine is shooting 350 fps. Nothing an upgrade spring cant fix.

"It’s a fantastic gun but my only problem with the gun is only not having a battery come with it,even though I spent 250 bucks for it and I didn’t get a battery is just upsetting.
Over all great gun and all but sadly no battery.

"Just got mine, to wet to shoot today. as far as looks, WOW looks killer. like everyone else says the stock is wobbly and feels unsecured. Not sure how to fix it but i'll try. The bipod is also flimsy, and plastic. Just a matter of time before it breaks. I'm removing it for a vertical grip. Other than that, when i do the shake test. Its SOLID, no rattles, didn't expect that for $215. without shooting it, i give it thumbs up, on looks alone I'd buy again

"The gun works great. I got the h&k box mag bundle, however the box mag does not latch properly. This leads to the mag falling out. It feeds fine, but any movement and its gone. Just get the regular high cap model and buy more mags. You can get a 1100 round highcap for $20. (If they're in stock.)

"So I’m writing this review based on external and internal part quality and build. I actually haven’t fired this gun once so take that as you will.
Externals- Honestly well built and sturdy for a 95% polymer gun. The orange plastic tip falls off instantly as it’s dollar tree strength plastic, but the polymer of the actual gun and body definitely has strength to it. The bipod is 100% polymer so I’d honestly advise to take it off. It gets in the way and just doesn’t seem worth it.
The rails are good quality and I wouldn’t worry about failure, although rail covers are almost required due to the sharp edges.
The upper and lower fit well together and the magazine slot is well built. The Para stock is also polymer which kinda made me nervous, but is really thick and can definitely be functional.
Overall I’d say 8/10 for external quality as it’s almost completely polymer, but everything is well built besides the bipod.
Internals- Please, please, please go inside the gearbox and give it a shim and cleaning. The grease that’s used is as slimy as earwax. The shims are very large, so an accurate shim might not be capable out of the box. Motor and trigger are standard and the piston teeth are metal. Air compression isn’t great at all, but not completely absent.
I’d say 6/10 for the gearbox because it is metal and after a quick run through would be placed at an 8/10
Overall. Based on build alone, I’d say it’s a great option for a budget m249. But I would advise a quick one over before playing

"A great starter LMG class! but there are some cons...

Pros
+good cost
+lightweight, easy to carry
+good gearbox
+easy to load and understand the gun
+can fit a good amount of brand m4 mags if you dont have any sack mags
+batteries are easy to access in the rear
+good amount of rail space for sights

Cons
-the sack mags tend to have malfunctioning problems such as overwinding and never stopping even when full, winding even when the button is off, not feeding fast enough where you have to hold the winding button, etc i would say get a techy to hard wire a sack mag to the gun so it auto winds better or just get a ''coffin'' mag/ quad m4 mag

- bipod not adjustable and can easily break off with to much force

-stock has no space for bigger batteries so if you have sticks or bricks i would say get a better stock for this such as the Full Size Polymer Stock or the Retractable Ranger Stock System/Mk46 5-Position Retractable Stock

"Great gun for what it is. Light for the size. Feels solid other than the bipod but i replaced that. Easy to take apart. Easiest gun i own to take apart. Chronod in the 350s with .28. Shoots far. Hop up is a minor pain to adjust. You lift up the top of the gun to adjust so not quick on the fly. Had a jam first time out after heavy use. Easy to fix. Barrel just lifts up to pull out. Takes every m4 mag i have from the matrix 1000 hi caps to the a&k 1500 and 2500 to any midcap i have laying around. Hop up is propriety but works fine. No nub came with mine. Put the prommy red on it. You can buy a much better bulkgear hopup that will let you use flathop nubs. Stock can only use round nubs unless you dremmel it out. Stock works fine for me. Battery compartment has no room for one a beast like this needs. I ran it out the back to a battery bag velcrod to the para stock and run a 8.4v 3800mah nimh tenergy battery. 2 of those and your set for the day. Only real complaint is that there isnt a drop in gear box available as a replacement. Id love to have a second on hand since i know at some point this one will break. Other then that its a great gun for the price. Just dont hold down that trigger to much. At some point im hoping to try to fit a krytac gearbox in this when thefirst one goes. Well see......

"Just got it in. Looks good, but the pins to retain the para stock are over sized for the matching holes on the main body. I am afraid of cracking the case by forcing the pins in.

I am going drill out the retaining holes on the body slightly to get them in without damaging the unit by forcing the pins in.
