Phantom Gear Aggressor MOLLE Ready M4 AK MP5 Magazine Pouch (Color: Double / OD Green)

"Best mag pouches I've ever used.
I use the phantom aggressor double mag shingle/pouch (whatever it is that you wanna call it) on my 1st line rig as a quick, and accessible magazine bearing setup and it works fantastic.
Without the straps, there's enough retention to hold the magazines snug in it's pouch, but not too much to make it difficult, and cumbersome to draw. Running, dropping prone, and jumping will not budge the mags at all, so no worries about losing magazines in game or on the go.
I haven't used the aggressor pouch with the retention straps yet, but they seem to be of a great quality bungee material, and are fully adjustable according to magazine size. This is a very versatile pouch.
Another thing I love about the Phantom Aggressor is the molle system. Instead of the traditional molle system with buttons or plastic strap locking system, the aggressor utilizes it's own unique molle system that is much easier to use. Kinda hard to explain the molle system, but you'll see when in hand.

Great system. I love it. Don't think I'll be using a different type of molle pouch/shingle anytime soon.

"These pouches are very well made. I've used them for M4/M16 mags and MP5 mags, both work fine. I will say that the cover is necessary with MP5 mags, and is annoying seeing as you probably have two of them in there. That being said, the strap is very easy to use and is adjustable/removable because it uses Velcro to secure in the back. I much prefer these to the tension string-topped mag pouches. They also work as a respectable holster for my M9 with the strap. idk how I found that though.

"I purchased this pouch because it was advertised as a "one size fits most" pouch. I am happy to say it's the best mag pouch I've ever owned.

My play style has been a "run light and carry high caps" and this mag pouch is perfect for that. Holding 4 AR type, 4 AK 47/74 type or 8 MP5 type mags this is the perfect addition to any players gear. Especially if that player likes to flip flop through guns throughout the day.

The design allows for elastic retention of individual magazines without the need of over top retention. The included over top retention system if you choose to use it incorporates a hard molle tab that weaves up to retain tension. This allows for quiet strapping and unstrapping of magazine retention without the tell tale sign of velcro being used.

Being that it's phantom gear the stitching is superb and the overall make is built to last.

Great product.

"Note: I am reviewing this product on its merit to hold AK style mags, not M4.
Despite the fact that Evike list this product as being compatible with AK mags, I would not advise it. I tested this pouch with both Ak-74 style bakelite mags and waffle mags, and both had their issues.
One may only fit one waffle mag in each pouch, which is fine, but the pouch still sits quite low on the mag, leaving me to fear the loss of the mag during rapid movement.
The bakelite mags were much the same as the waffle type. With only one mag in each pouch, it can be a bit loose. When trying to use two mags in one pouch, the second mag would not fully seat, leaving about two thirds of the mag protruding from the pouch. This led to the second mag falling out during several matches. The elastic cover straps were not designed for ak compatibility as they were neither long enough to extend over the top of the mags with much success nor did they remain secure when I was able to get the strap over them.
I am giving this pouch 4 out of 5 because they are sturdily made and seem like they would work great with m4 or m14 style mags. However, it did not work with the ak mags, which is what I use.

"Retention for 2 mags is great. However, if you just want to run one mag on the outer half of the elastic divider, you lose your retention (using M4 mags).

Pros:
-Retains well using 2 mags in each pouch
-MOLLE attachment much easier to use and does not come apart if fastened properly

Cons:
-Optional cover tabs are difficult to work with. If you choose to run open-top, it's a step back from the standard velcro pouches, because these flaps require you to re-secure the tab to the front of the pouch or else the elastic band will flop around all over, whereas other velcro pouches, you can just tap the cover closed and it will stick. Highly recommend running open-top
-If you choose to run open-top, you almost must have a dup pouch. If mags are pulled from the outside-in, you will have no problem, but it's difficult to 1.) reinsert magazine into a pouch with one magazine in there already, and 2.) retain only a single mag in the main compartment. Thus, THESE ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR RETENTION RELOADS WITHOUT A SEPARATE DUMP POUCH
