"Ok first impression is wow very smooth action nearly no sound when shooting so very pleased with this rifle will be a beast with a few simple add-ons and have plans for a few upgrades but was surprised how accurate it was out of the box so if your interested in a very nice sniper rifle should seriously consider this one won't be disappointed and thanks to evike another awesome order from start to finish love these guys my favorite airsoft retailer will get all of my business

"Just picked this up from Evike last week. I've been shooting it all morning with a variety of BB's and weights and stock it's putting Madbull match .25's in a single hole for almost an entire 30 round mag at my back yard measured 30 yard range! It crono's 283 fps consistent with .20's

The simulated wood stock looks great and the finish is clean for an airsoft rifle, all in all I'm very happy with this purchase. This is my 2nd Marui gun and I don't think I'll be buying any other brand from now on.

Looking forward to some mods!

Thanks!

"If I were to describe this gun in one word, it'd be "Glorious."

After researching on all of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 models, I wanted a gun that really stood out with beauty but also performed like nothing else. That is exactly what you get with this gun. For the people who love to know every single detail about a gun before purchasing, I'll fill you in.

What comes in the box: You get the gun, the scope with rings, one 30 round magazine, a bag of TM's 0.28g BB's, a manual, and some paper targets.

Externals: The stock of this gun is, as usual with all TM, ABS plastic. Now, it is by far that highest quality plastic I've ever seen. Seamless, not glossy, but very smooth. The outer barrel is stainless coated as well as the entire bolt assembly. The trigger guard is ABS plastic as well, but tough. The scope comes already attached out of the box. The scope has a brushed stainless coating. No marks and also has "Marui, Japan" written on the side. The power of the scope is 4X40, which to me is perfect for airsoft. On the front of the stock is a nub to attach a Harris style bi-pod and another nub at the back end of the stock for a sling mount point. The butt of the stock is rubber, so it wont slip while you aim. The magazine holds 30 rounds and is made of ABS plastic. There is a muzzle cap on the front that is threaded CCW. It's not 14mm, duh. You can buy an adaptor and put a suppressor on it.

Internals: Bolt housing is stainless coated, bolt itself is stainless steel, piston is a durable poly-carbonate plastic as well as the spring guide. There is something you need to know about the piston though. The piston has weights attached to the sides. I believe TM did this to give you a "real gun" kind of a feel. I didn't quite like it too much. I took them out. You must drill out the pin that holds the nozzle to the bolt. Once you do that, you must drill the four screws that hold the weights in place on the piston because the screws are like nothing I've ever seen before, they're like a three sided screw driver, I don't know. Moving forward, the nozzle is brass and the spring is obviously metal. I don't have a chronograph unfortunately, but I could say that this shoots at about 300 FPS. The hop-up is metal and the inner barrel to my eyes looks to be aluminum.

Performance: The bolt pull is so smooth. It is flawless. No wiggles at all. The hop-up adjustment is easily found on the side and clicks as you adjust it. It is solid. The hop-up is incredible. (You don't say?) BB's don't sway side to side unless of course there is wind. The hop-up literally only adjusts the y-axis of the BB's flight path. It's amazing. Being only 300 FPS, you may not be able to touch targets more than 50 meters. The hop-up does a great deal in getting you that far though. I set myself up kind of like EpicAirsoftHD on Youtube did. A 30 meter range, one target, 10 rounds. I was outside, but I tried to pick a calm day. The wind was blowing at about 2 MPH. Not much of a threat. I hit my target, a tree, all 10 times in the same spot. Very impressive. I was using the 0.28g BB's that came with the gun.

Final Thought's/Future Plans: I love it. It was well worth the investment. For those of you that laugh at the FPS and say how it's bad, it's a rule in Japan that requires players to play with 300 FPS/1 Joule or lower. That's why. Upgrades can obviously make that number go up. I work at a manufacturing company and I plan on machining my own upgrades. So that'll be fun. This gun is great stock. Honestly, you can out-range most 400-450 FPS guns out there with this because of its hop-up, it's just amazing. I wouldn't change a thing about it for a while. Keep it stock as long as you can. That's what I think. This gun performs great, has great quality and looks absolutely beautiful. Definitely a head turner.

Got questions for me? Progress on my personal upgrades? I'm on Facebook. Happy Airsofting!

"my honest opinion on this gun, it's great!. I would recommend this gun to anyone if they wanna play the sniper role in airsoft, this was my first gun I bought and I've learned so much from it, it's very easy to upgrade, out of the box its shoots pretty far with .25 bbs and .28, very surprised with this gun, it's great, the only downside to this weapon is the stock is plastic, but I don't mind that at all considering its very light, I would say if you're a person that really likes realism in guns being heavy all metal that type of stuff, I would not recommend this but other than that, its good.
if you want to see this gun in action just look up some videos and you'll be surprised.

"Had this gun for 2 months, it's a great gun to work on. You need to buy a scope and a scope mount if you want to snipe with it. The bipod doesn't come with the gun. The fps is pretty low but there are many ways to upgrade the power. The outer barrel is very soft metal so after accidentally dropping it, the barrel bent. I had to bend it straight again, it couldn't get a warranty on it. The barrel isn't 100% straight again but it shoots pretty straight. The gun is very light and the bolt pull is very easy. The blot handle rotates 90 degrees from the locked position to the up position. The stock plastic scratches easily but it makes the gun look more worn and used. The screws on the trigger box and hop up cylinder are like glued down and hard to unscrew. The barrel cap is glued in and wouldn't unscrew until i dropped it. The tiny screw fillers that go in the empty screw holes where the scope mount goes are not needed to keep the barren from turning because the stock holds the receiver really well. I really like this gun and cant wait to upgrade it even more.
