"So I recently aquired this gun (I think, supposed to be the vfc clone) in a trade. I am really impressed with it so far. Mine came with a madbull tbb and new buckling as well as the scar style grenade launcher. It shoots really far, good rof and fps. Perfect for field play.

Pros:
-sick look
-7.62, not 5.56
-awesome range
-good fps
-decent rof
-locking bolt catch
-quiet

Cons:
-pistol grip is cheaply made in my opinion, constantly having to tighten it
-very small battery compartment
-hopup and gearbox shell are plastic and abs, wasnt impressed by that at all

Overall good gun to put some upgrades into, looks sick with a gl and scar style suppressor. Would recommend new hopup, tbb, new pistol grip, and some internal upgrades such as gearbox shell and obvious other upgrades.

"As my first gun this isn't coming from a lot of experience, but its pretty nice. My favorite thing about this gun is the way it feels. Its, in my opinion, very ergonomic. Iron sights aren't hard to aim down, even when wearing mask/eye protection. The only thing wrong with it out of the box were the iron sights. The rear sight came out of its base when trying to adjust the elevation, and the actual sight was stuck in a half way position (as there are two options for the iron sights), so I had to use pliers to get it in an upright position. Besides that its an awesome gun, light weight, feels really nice, and shoots well.

"Okay, so First off let me say that this is my first gun.

PROS:
Does come with a 1200MAH Battery and Charger.
Cheek Riser for optics
Stock has 6 Positions
Stock is foldable
No Wires when stock folds
Decent internals
Lots of 20mm Rail Space
Heavy(could be a con) Weighs about 12 Pounds.

CONS:
Stock has no lock when folded so it flops around
Hopup is not the greastest
Pistol Grip gets hot after firing for a while.

Other than that this is a excellent gun.
Why should I choose a SCAR-H over a M4?
I see way too many M4s and its a SCAR. Whats not to love about it

"I bought this gun about a 2 weeks ago. The shipping was a little slow, but it was well worth the wait. I recommend this gun to intermidiate to advanced players. The price is amazing, I bought this gun when it was on sale for $150. The gun itself is heavy but very durable. It comes with two high capacity magazines, a standard wall charger, and a 8.4 battery. The stock is adjustable and is equipped with a rising cheek rest. The bolt locks in place for an easy hop-up adjustment. The lower receiver is high-impact polymer and the upper-receiver is full metal. I recommend using .25 or .28 bbs. The battery compartment is in the stock. Which can fold and lock in place. The stock has no wires showing when folded

Pros
- not an m4
- decent trigger response
- easy open battery compartment
- long range
- very accurate
- very durable

Cons
- sometimes when you are shooting on semi-auto the trigger will lock, but all you need to do is put it to full auto, then put it back to semi-auto and return to your firing again.
- the gun is a little bit heavy but nothing extreme

Overall this gun is one of the best I have ever owned. I highly recommend buying this gun.

"First of all, this gun out of the box looks and feels great. The weight and feel of this gun is pretty close to the real steel version, and during field play it made my arm a challenge during cqb play. This gun is not ready for cqb out of the box though, because it shoots too hot for even normal fields standards. I had to buy a new spring for it just to even use it. The gun is of excellent build quality, and the only wobble i have found is the extending portion of the buttstock when it is fully extended.

I cant say how good the range is with it stock because i immediately attatched the barrel extender and a mock suppressor with a 450mm 6.03 toghtbore and a new h nub, but with all these improvements plus the guns original functionality, it is an absolute beast. Even with the crappy 6mm proshop 140 midcaps that i got off of this site, this gun had no feeding issues. The hop up is different from an m4, but the design of it leaves less room for feeding issues because it is pushed all the way onto the mag.
The gearbox has high quality gears that dont look like theyre going to shimm on you for a long while.

I have had 2 problems with this gun other than fps. 1st is the stock rear iron sight. Yes, it is the iron sight that is supposed to be on the gun, but it leaves you with very little room to even see the front irons. 2nd is the lower reciever. It is good quality abs and it wont break on you. But the seems. THE SEEMS. They are very distinct and basically go around the entire lower reciever, and they stick out and scratch the hell out of your hand inbetween the thumb and index finger while using it. This is not a hard fix though. All you need is any type of file and the common sense not to scratch you gun up. They are very easy to file down and although the seems are still visible, you can only really see them if yourr checking out the gun up close and personal.

One thing that may be taken as a con is the battery compartment. This WILL NOT fit anything larger than the battery it comes with, because it barely fits the batter itself. You have to extend the stock to even get it in there. But i like the look of a battery pouch and its not the end of the world for me, because now i can change the look of the gun, and the battery power too. You just have to be careful with the wires and feeding them outside of the stock. If you lay them flat and gently bring the cheek riser back down, the plastic should slide and bend over the wire, causing no damage. But you just do what i did and try it whatever way it goes first, youre gonna ruin the heat shrink on your wires, eventually leaving them exposed. Be smart guys.

So in conclusion,
PROS:
- sick look, as all scars have
- free barrel extension that screws on to 14mm - (ccw) threads [forgot to mention that, its great]
- amazing performance and inmer build quality
- awesome external feel (except for the seems)
- good weight (may be a con for some people, 8.5 lbs isnt the best for speedsofting)
- perfect functionality and rof
- the sound it makes is somewhat unique, and it has a really good snap to it
- trademarks on the upper reciever are awesome, and go well if you make it two tone dark earth like i did.

CONS:
- minor stock wobble on the extending portion
- THE SEEMS
- fps is too hot
- rear iron sight is hard to see through
- disassembly is impossible without an allen key, but that also makes it wobble less so take that as what you will.

This gun is great, and is perfect for experienced airsofters like myself and others who want to get the most out of their primary, and is a great alternative to spending 300+ on a stock toy gun. Id also recommend it for intermediate players as well, but not so much for newbies just because you need some knowlege of how to keep from breaking this gun because of doing the wrong things to it and man handleing it. Treat this gun with care and respect, and this gun will make your enemies fear you. Buy this badass.

"Amazing gun only con is the stock brackets broke really easy and my stock is really wiggly

"Just received this gun in a mystery box today. Very pleased with the build quality and overall look of the gun.
Pros:
Full metal upper
Decent ROF out of the box
Accurate
Sturdy build quality
Ambidextrous
6 position stock
Comes with 2 mags and a battery
Functioning bolt catch

Cons:
Lower receiver polymer feels kind of cheap
Front sight is on an angle
Stock has a bit of wobble

Overall this gun is fantastic for the price, I would definitely recommend!

"This gun is amazing for the price you pay! I bought this gun for $189 and was highly satisfied with my purchase. This gun shoots between 380 and 410 fps, along with a high rate of fire, The trigger is very responsive and smooth with a 9.6 volt valken battery(ordered separately) and when switched to automatic the grouping is incredible. This gun shot straight at 150 ft no problem. The internals and upper are made of metal and the lower receiver is a quality polymer. The stock is also a high quality polymer which folds and adjusts easy. My order was placed on 7-28 and arrived on 7-31 with ups ground shipping. The package included two solid hi-cap magazines, the gun, 9.6 volt custom battery and charger, and a cleaning rod.
If I had the choice to do this again i would still choose this gun.

"I have had this gun for about a year now and I love it. When i got it I got an extra 9.6 matrix 1800mah battery and it works great, last about 2 houres of straight use.

pros:
-great Fps(380-410)
-great range(150 feet)
-upper resiver is fully metal
-ambidextrus
-heavy(10Lbs), could be a con
-ujustable stock

cons:
-lower resever is plastic
-heavy
-battery compartment is tight
-wiers in battery compartment are fragle

If you get this gun I would recomend getting a spair batterie for it. Its a great gun for its price. Get it!!!

"Fantastic purchase. Great accuracy and high FPS make this weapon great for medium to long range engagements. Front and rear flip up iron sights are sturdy. Comes with black flash hider to replace orange tip. Unjamming rod, battery and charger all included. Ambidextrous safety and mag release allows for easy shooting for both right and left handed shooters. Folding stock which does lock in place securely and , as well as adjustable cheek riser and six position collapsable stock make for a very comfortable shooting experience. Rail mounts on the top, bottom and sides leaves plenty of room for customization and attachments.

Only complaints are somewhat fragile wiring in the stock combined with the tight battery compartment. Be careful not to shove battery in and sever the wiring connections. (Nothing a little electrical tape cant fix) and locking bolt to expose hop up can be a bit finicky at times.

Overall a fantastic gun, well worth the money.

"I just got this gun less than a week ago, and it has already been put to the test. Me and my team went to this huge two day event. The first game was a night game. Right off the bat it jammed and wouldn't shoot. I was literally ready to rage. However after some easy 15 minute fixes I got it working again. Let me tell you once it got going it didnt stop. I was hitting people left and right, and the fps was fantastic. I truly recommend this gun to anybody. This was worth every penny and I plan on upgrading this in the future.

Pros: Great look and very sturdy.
Amazing FPS
Very very accurate
Rate of fire(I was using a 9.6v battery though)
All the features. i.e. Cheek rest, folding stock and more.
Bang for your buck- You get the gun, battery, four mags(counting the holy cow deal) and flash hider all for only $270.00

Cons: Mag is slightly wobbly- Nothing to stress about
Getting that flash hider off. It is not an easy task.
It is a little tight getting the battery in.

"I got this gun while it was 90 dollars off and I'm very pleased. It was one of two gun models I really wanted still and this was perfect. It's very easy to take apart for whatever purpose. It came with two mags a battery and charger. The iron sights are strong and both fold and are removable. I haven't had the chance to take this to the field and don't have a chrono of my own so I can't say what the fps is but it seems to be pretty good. I found it annoying that the charging handle comes on the right side but that is easily changed. The wires are also not very strong and can be cut by the stock mechanism. Also there are no wires sticking out when you fold the stock, as the power is passed through contacts in the hinge. It is also heavy and can be uncomfortable if you holding it up all the time so I don't recommend using this for cqb type engagements and the fps based on other reviews may be to high. I'm also working on getting a sight for this but can't decide between tan to match this gun or black to match my others.

Pros:
Decent range and accuracy
Fully adjustable stock
No external wires with folded stock
looks good
Not an m4.
Heavy

Cons:
Slight sock wobble because it folds
Thin wires
Heavy
small battery space

Over all anything I didn't like about this gun is easily fixable or just nitpicky things.
I'm very happy with this gun and am glad I could get it so cheep. Defenetly worth the full price though.
by Rob C. on 03/15/2016
"Pros:
High FPS
Great accuracy
Great build quality
Built in fuse
Great trigger response

Cons:
None other than small battery space

"My newest addition to my collection, this SCAR-H is an excellent and well rounded airsoft weapon.

Pros:
1) Full metal with a polymer lower receiver (like the actual weapon)
2) Very powerful (390 fps on mine)
3) Very accurate
4) Decent rate of fire (13 rounds per second on mine)
5) Bolt catch is functional and comes in handy when adjusting the hop-up
6) Folding stock is very functional and expose no wires even though the battery is kept in the stock
7) Compatible with many attachments due to the large amount of rails on the weapon
8) Decent ammo capacity (about 500 rounds)
9) Well weighted (provides good balance)

Cons:
I have not experienced no problems with this model.

Overall, this gun is extremely fictional and is a very well rounded airsoft weapon. Excellent for close quarters and mid-long range fire fights. I definitely recommend this model.
