Angel Custom 200mm x 38mm "Light Saber" Advanced Tracer System with Flare Technology - 14mm Negative

"Works and looks awesome on semi auto, but full auto or even rapid semi is enough to see the tracer unit flash every second at most.

"I purchased this tracer unit from Evike a week ago and finally had a free evening to try it out. I put it on a G&G Herstal Scar. It started out well, but the flash and tracer slowly degraded to the point of only picking up every 4-6 rounds. Then is stopped working completely. I installed new batteries and the unit flashed again, but only 4-6 rounds again. I must have a bumb unit. 1000 rounds in all.

My son, with his Masada, had a 2 year old ASG unit (still available at half the price) fire about 1000 rounds with out a failure. His tracer stream looked like a solid red line while my gun just sent out every fourth to sixth round glowing red.

Don't get this one unless you want to take the chance of getting a unit that doesn't function as intended and having to return it. I have not decided if I will return it or exchange it.

Otherwise, the appearance and mechanical construction are great. No instructions are included. The on off button is a small push button that energizes the unit when pushed in to the "in" position. It is off when the button is sticking out at its full length...same as the ASG unit which is half the price...

This is my first one ever, and even after a return and retry, it still underperformed greatly enough to give me the confidence to say that it is in fact NOT worth the price, whatsoever.

The first one I got only illuminated maybe 3/10 BBs in both my AEG and GBB rifles, both of which are no more than 25 rps. The second one (which I just recieved an hour ago) works about twice as well. This time maybe illuminating every 5/10 BBs, maybe 6/10.

All in all, cool idea, and I love the design, but holy jeebus do not waste your money on this product. Wait for AC to either rework and fix the model, or go buy an Ace Tech like I'm doing.

"I'm really disappointed with this unit actually. Like a few others have pointed out, it only lights up every 4 or 5 bbs. I've used it on multiple AEGs and GBBs with a wide range of fire rates, same result.
I plan on contacting Evike to see about a refund/exchange.

Apart from not actually performing it's sole purpose, the unit itself it very well made, super easy to use, very bright (when it actually lights up), and looks totally awesome. If only it worked! :/

"This tracer is very bright looks good on my g&G cm16 but it lights up 3 out 5 bbs sometimes less on semi auto the sensor doest not detect all out going bbs.. if there's a quick fix please let me know.....thanks again

"So Ive had this tracer since the sale event, Ive only ever used it a total of 2 maybe 3 times all those times its been a completely problem since day one. It started and continues to be a problem is the batteries not fitting and slipping from the battery slot and now its denting in the battires I am giving it. All the triple A batteries I have given the lightsaber tracer unit have dented in and made the product extremely hot and completely unusable and unstable. I loved the tracer unit when it worked but today at playland I put in battieres and it started to dent the battieres while making the whole tracer unit incredibly hot I removed rhe batteries but they contain dents and were super hot to remove. I dont know if I had a deffective tracer unit or something but I dont have a tracer unit anymore its a bomb. I have images of the batteries after I removed them if this needs proof
