KWA Full Metal KR14 / M16 Airsoft AEG Rifle with 14" KeyMod Handguard

"This gun is absolutely amazing, I bought it with the hope that it would not need upgrading and be a work horse that does not break, as I am not the best tech, I can safely say that this gun stock is shooting farther and more accurate than my fully upgraded m4, I am picking people off from the other side of my medium to long range field, not to mention I have used this thing as an lmg several times and have never had to open up the gun to fix something.

Pros:
full metal, i hit this on everything, but still remains relatively light
internals, i use this gun like a full auto machine gun sometimes, long bursts of automatic fire sometimes for up to 20 seconds, has not broken it is an absolute work horse
insane range, almost sniper range
CONS:
Can be a little front heavy, and thats me trying to think of something bad about this gun,

"For Christmas this year, I received this beast of a gun, and to say the least I am thoroughly impressed. First off the gun is lighter than I expected for being such a huge length. This additional length than a normal aeg, allows for this gun to be dead accurate and very consistent every time. After using this gun in combat it performed great, I have found using .28g bbs helps increase accuracy, however using .25 still gives a great accuracy to the gun. When I found this gun, I figured it must have been overlooked for no one had written a review on it, because of this I sprung for the risk, and it definitely payed off. This gun outperforms most of the guns you will see at a field, and definitely should not be overlooked. The only criticism I can possibly give is that the guns battery compartment was a little smaller than I had expected, and a tight fit for my nunchuck battery, I assume a stick lypo would fit just great. Overall this is a great gun with solid accuracy and firepower, and I would recommend this gun for anyone looking for a gun to outperform most.

"Solid gun. As real as you can get build wise. Have real steel ones and this one could easily pass for it.Only two things have play rear stock which is even common real steel models and the front barrel could move when pushed ,around has to long rail and barrel, needs maybe support in the middle To firm it up. Have not fired it up yet but kwa is solid performer, and being this newer version this should meet or exceeed the current models I own. Must buy you will not regret it. It looks intimidating, will be putting Acog and mag pul verical grip on it. Lite but solid

"I got this gun 2 years ago and it's been amazing since I got it out of the box! Hasn't given me any problems so far and im soon gonna be converting it to a polarstar because it's just such a cool gun

"I did some pretty solid research looking for a solid DMR-style gun to add to my arsenal, and although the KR14 has limited reviews on the internet, i can confidently say i'm satisfied with my purchase. I mean, i looked at Scar-H's, M14's, l86's, etc, and in the end, for $300 the KR guns seem like the best choice. I've put around 3000 .30's through mine so far with a 9.6v battery, and it's been pretty solid. it shoots a consistent 400fps with .20s which mirror's the statistics on the website, so that's good.


Upsides are all of the main thing's you can really ask for in a solid DMR or a M4 platform.

Upsides include consistency(FPS, battery usage, RoF) , pretty dang impressive range(i've never measured it officially, but it goes as far as you can expect from a 400fps gun using .30s), a solid metal build(it feel's very high quality, unlike my MTC-3 which has a lot of wiggle room in the polumer lower receiver for the internals, the KR14 has a very slim but robust metal frame that compactly holds the internals). And the rate of fire is satisfying enough that you'll close your eyes as the stream of bb's hit your target and the orchestra rapid contact washes over your ears.


Downsides aren't very major things, mainly little things that you'll notice but will forget overtime.

One being that the first time, and the next 5 times, you dissasemble the gun it will be very difficult to break that top and bottom portion into the appropriate upper and lower receivers. You do feel quite manly afterwards though. Also.

just a side note, i definitely reccomend those KWA mags that it comes with, they feed flawlessly and fit into the magwell as a magazine should. (And only get small type butterfly batteries, the buttstock literally has slots that only allow for them. Otherwise you'd have to like manually cut out a big ol chunk and like you might mess with the wiring and ugh, it's just not worth the extra effort.)

I'd say the only major "flaw" you would need to take into consideration when buying this gun, is it's length. It is a very loooong gun. Now if you are prepared to take up a DMR/sniper position and systematically eliminate your targets, then you'll appreciate the heft and intimidation that the rifle expresses. But if you want a gun that you can shoot in any indoor environment, good luck man. If you aren't specifically looking for the feeling of having a long DMR that you epicly carry around like a BA as you strut onto the playing field, then just get one of the other KR variants. They have virtually the same internals but just at more convenient lengths for different ranges.

"Got it 2 days ago. Ive put over 1,000bbs through it. And it is pretty nice. Only problem was after putting 1,000bbs through it tge hop up hadnt broken in. So i opened up the hop up. When i did that i lost the hop up nub. Had to make a new one by cutting about 3-4mm on he ink tube of a cheap pen. After that. Hittin targets at about 200ft. Its sick

"Gun seems to be pretty decent, and contrary to popular belief it seems to be upgradeable. Most people online seem to claim that KWA guns have many proprietary parts, this seems not to be the case although I did have to mill a few parts going in the gun just because of tight fit. The gun shoots decent right out of the box, but I play almost entirely outside so I wanted to squeeze out some extra range. I tried putting an R-hop in the gun to no avail, probably because it was my first try. In doing so I ruined the rubber piece between the inner barrel and the hop up, as I had to take some off for it to flat hop so I put new parts that were lying around in the gun. This seemed to work pretty well and the hopup seemed to be a non issue after installation.
Overall, this gun is long, really long, if you are thinking about using this for mostly inside games I would urge you to get a shorter gun.
The gun is a bit heavy as well, but if you are at least semi-fit it wont wear you out that fast.
Also, remember if you plan on buying this gun make sure that the batteries you are using are nunchuck type, the battery compartment wont work with anything else except maybe some smaller Lipo batteries.
Overall, pretty solid gun but there are better options for the price.
