G&P Battle Axe Troy 9" M4 Airsoft AEG (Package: Gun Only)

"perfect gun used as a base gun for my polarstar jack and works perfectly only thing i did was replace the stock and buffer tube those where a pain to get back on and i almost couldnt also they had these 2 little screws on the stock that held it in place it was also very annoying to get out but thats just grips for my polarstar installation besides that shoot s like a laser and feels amazing

"Picked this up while on sale. Gorgeous externals complete with fantastic trades. G&P takes most external and internal upgrades extremely well so that is an added bonus. I bought this as a shell to eventually p*. No complaints, if you want a streamlined sbr with a beautiful troy rail system and a G&P VLTOR MUR-1 Upper then this is for you.

"I have enjoyed this gun for three months. It is definitely a good gun, but I have a couple complaints.

The bad:
Right out of the box I found that the door on the casing ejection doesn't shut and it has a little bit of rust on the hand guard.
The hand guard came with a little wobble that to be tightened (easy fix).
After only two months of use, the select fire switch broke. It no longer will select semi-auto.
The unlock button to raise/lower the iron sights is incredibly stiff.

The good:
The on sale price is very competitive for mid range guns.
The laser etching is top notch and gets lots of compliments at the airsoft field.
390 fps with .20 bb.
370 fps with .25 bb.
High rps for an aeg (I don't have an exact number, maybe 15-20).

The neutral:
The sound it makes when fired is definitely unique. It makes a noise like pulling a really loud suction cup.

Conclusion:
This is my first G&P, but it seems quality didn't live up to G&P's reputation.
