"An amazing choice for someone who is first starting out. Shoots straight, trigger response is amazing and has great weight to it. Word of advice, the MOSFET that comes with it will give out after a while (about 3 months for me after playing airsoft once a week) so be sure to invest in a good replacement to go in it. Great gun for the price.

"This a great beginner gun the FPS is good and it’s accuracy is decent. But I would put a better hop up and bucking for better performance. Overall it’s an awesome gun.

"Very good, using it as my main gun at the moment.

Pros
Heavy Duty
Customizable
Lightweight
Easy to modify

Cons
Difficult to remove orange tip
Not the best when it comes to rpm

Overall best bang for your buck for new players on a budget.
Would recommend a 9.6, I run a 7.4 personally.

"really reliable gun I love this thing right out of the box it has a fast fire rate and hits pretty hard.
pros- fast fire
has really good performance and is reliable
handling is really good and comfy
has good grouping and is accurate
has a good amount of space for upgrades
cons - the only problem I had with my gun was the mosfet and occasionally stops shooting you I have to unplug the battery and then plug it back in but I ordered another mosfet and it works even better now
I highly recommend this gun for cqb fun to use and barley has any issues.

"I would say this rifle is great for intermediate play, and cqb. First off, the rifle is light, made of polymer that is reinforced. Anything that isn’t polymer is either aluminum or light metal. Overall great maneuverability. Internally, the mosfet is programmable to 3 round burst in case you want that, and the trigger response out of the box is amazing. I was using a 9.6v 1700mah nimh battery and it basically has no mechanical reset of the trigger. I ordered a LiPo which will come soon, but the only issue I have is that it will only fit certain types of butterfly batteries, I tried out an 8.4v nimh, which performed relatively the same, however the battery wouldn’t fit in the stock, and I didn’t feel like ruining the mosfet so I didn’t jam it in there. Anyway if you are looking for an intermediate gun to play with, I would totally recommend this.

"Im new to this, so take this with a grain of salt...
That being said, these G&G CM models seem to me, out of the box, to be one of the best intermediate rifles on the market. I've read some minor complaints from others thatbI justbdont have on either of the 2 models that I have purchased. Hand down flawless function, with easy battery instillation. Definitely worth the money.

"Love this gun. This gun is made out of a much thicker polymer that's threaded with nylon and designed to be nearly as durable as metal, aside from having full metal internals. I recommend trying a 11.1 Lipo for increased performance in fire rate, and purchasing lancer tactical flash mags, these mags fit even better than than its original one, and provide a much faster reload with a 360 round capacity on the hi-cap. The accuracy right out of the box is fanatastic and shoots between 320-350 fps. Perfect for cqb and can be used even for long range if needed. One of the best features is its burst fire mode. Trigger response is excellent on single fire mode and as long as the mags are not empty is consistent on full auto. Also recommend purchasing a red dot or sight in general as the sight isnt best for quick acquisition. 5/5 for its price and performance. Will not find very many guns this good have this cheap a price.

CONS:

"Just got this gun a few days ago and I am loving it. I was afraid when I bought it that it would have poor range and accuracy but I was wrong, I can hit a target 7/10 times from around 220ft. The trigger response is really great with a 9.6v battery, you only have to pull it back a little. The 3 round burst on this gun is great and so is full auto. Great gun overall but I had one problem, the mag well seems a little different from the older combat machines so it did not feed with the old combat machine high caps and my elite force mags. But besides from that this gun is great and if you don't buy it you are missing out. It should cost around $300, its a great steal.

Pros-
Lightweight
Durable
Great range and accuracy
3 round burst
Good trigger response
Good rate of fire
FPS is just right for indoor and outdoor
Many other things

Cons-
Does not feed with very few mags but I think that is a mag problem
Springy sound(not really a con)

"Let me start off by saying this, I love this thing. I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it, the performance you get is worth more money than you're paying. (No one tell Evike) That being said I did have a problem with it, after taking it out of the box and vigorously shaking it to see how much noise it makes (none), I took it out for a shooting test. It shot consistently to the far left for me, however I knew that this wasn't a gun problem and was just the nub not being installed correctly. I opened it up to change the hop-up unit out for a prowin (that was my plan from the beginning) I used the same bucking and nub and it works flawlessly. Something handy is the front receiver pin doesn't fall out, so you can't lose it. I had to put my three panel lipo in the buffer tube and move the mosfet and fuse into the stock to make it fit, I can't fully retract the stock now but I wouldn't play with it like that anyways.

Pros:
Pretty much everything
Great rof on 11.1
Semi is ridiculously fast
No trigger reset with the etu

Cons:
Lemon hop-up unit (for me)
The battery compartment is oddly shaped

Overall 5/5 great but would recommend to new players and experienced ones as well.

(For anyone wondering what battery I got to fit it was a Matrix 11.1v lipo 1300 mah tri-cell

"Haven't take this out to the field yet but I did get a chance to shoot this and test out the features. The construction is very solid and well built, G&G did a great job on the key mod and the plastic body feels really great. I reccommend you use a 9.6v Nimh to 11.1v Lipo, anything above 11.1v damage it and anything below 9.6v will have trigger issues. The mosfet is pretty nice and rate of fire is decent. I love the sound, the Fps was 340 right out of the box which was great. If you can upgrade this, I reccomend a better motor, gears, shims, and a brand new hop up . My only issue is the stock, it can be a little wobbly but it isn't a major issue. If you are looking into buying this gun I highly advise you to buy it, it's worth every penny.

"best gun over all only problem i had was a jam but fires perfect.a nice stock and key mod rail light weight
by Julian T. on 10/17/2015
"This gun right out of the box shoots at about 330-350, which is pretty good for Cqb recommendations. With a 11.1 lipo battery , the trigger response is instant and can go full auto only using semi-auto, if you have a good trigger finger. People thought I had it on full auto, but I was just using semi-auto. This gun has a $70 stock, a $40 key mod rail, a $30 mosfet, and about a $10-20 upgraded trigger contacts. This gun is totally worth $200 with all of the customized parts onto it. I have shot about 10,000 rounds through this and only had a problem with only one jam, but that was only because I was using my trigger finger too much, but nothing too bad. If you didn't by this gun, you are missing out.

"Gun feels amazing. Made of good polymer with a metal handguard. The issue I had with this gun is the mosfet/etu. After about 7-10k rounds my gun stopped shooting. The mosfet was fried and gears were stripped. I’m getting a gate titan to replace the g&g mosfet. The gun shot well while it lasted.

"stock, this gun lives up to its price tag. solid build, good range and FPS. ive had this gun for just over 2 months and have done some minor upgrades but nothing too serious.

PROS::
- solid build, doesn't wobble around at all.
- feels good to shoulder and sights are a good height for people who wear goggles
- fps is around 335-350 ( depending on the .20s that i shot through it) which is good for CQB.
- range averaged out at 180FT but i was able to get semi accurate ( 7/10 on a body) at 200ft
- built in mosfet gave it a unique 3 round burst function right out of the box.

CONS::
- i got a lemon mosfet and it cut out on me after 2 games, but i replaced it with a regular wiring harness and the gun shoots just fine
- the mag that this gun comes with is picky to what gun it wants to work with.
- the stock holes are a bit hard and putting in a 9.6v tenergy butterfly was a task in itself.
- the flash hider does come off but its a pain in the freaking donkey.
- the handrail is held by 3 pretty small allen screws, so it has a tendency to get loose every once in a while

i would recommend this series of guns to anyone looking for a cool looking M4 and is on a 200 dollar budget.
