Battle Machine M4 Mod-L Gen. 1 Airsoft AEG by Valken - Black

"This gun is pretty solid! Didn't buy it off of evike (support your local shops sometimes!), but overall a great AEG! Its basically your standard M4. Polymer free float RIS is a huge plus, it works well and keeps the front end light. This does make durability an issue, however, as the Polymer RIS gets scuffed very easily. The buffer tube and barrel are full metal. The receiver is polymer, very sturdy, comparable to a G&G combat machine, if not sturdier. Overall, great gun. Can't say much about FPS and stock performance as I basically tore mine apart to make it CQB ready. The stock gearbox is rock solid, but I'd replace the hop up real quick- its not great but I guess it would get the job done for a newbie. I believe the OEM is SRC. Overall, good gun for cheap!

"Gun is amazing!!! Only problem that i have is the hop-up doesn't do much. The gun is cheap for what you get. Body is all polymer and internals are metal. So much you can do with this gun. Crane-stock holds many different types of batteries. I suggest it for anyone.

"Had this gun for a couple weeks know it's great. I only used it as semi auto for a little while and it started making a weird noise while firing but after a day the sound went away and putting the mag in can be wierd sometimes overall I recommend this gun for anyone. Very accurate and fast firing.

"I got this gun a few days ago and I got to say this gun is great. I have been playing airsoft for about 3 years now so I have a pretty good idea on what's good and bad, and I have gotta say this gun is one of my favorites. It shoots hard (382 fps average with elite force point twos and a tenergy 9.6v). The only thing I can say though is make sure your mag clicks into place or else it will fall out. "Overall, this gun is a very good starter gun for the price but you have to make sure that you get a battery and charger with this gun.

Pros:
Constructed of polymer
Valken is rumored to be coming out with an interchangeable rail system for Battle Machines
Will take pretty much any mags you want to put in it although some mags take a little more push in order to get the mag to lock
Measured 340-350 FPS when the chronograph was used
Rumors have it that the Stock on the Battle Machine series can fit any type of battery but I seriously doubt this because I don't see how a large battery could fit in the stock of any of the Battle Machines

Cons:
Hand grip does not feel like Valken worked on it
My Mod-L also has some issues with the Hop-Up.

"Wow, this gun is just amazing perfect for mid range. Right out of the box this guns rate of fire and coz is really good

pros:
-flip up front and rear sighs
-Detachable front sight and back sight
-free float ris
-great Magazine
-Ris

Cons:
-mags are hard to get in sometimes
-did not include a battery or charger

"I unboxed this gun, charged my batteries, took it out and shot a few times. Sadly, I found the hop up to be broken right out of the box. There was no spin at all and it dropped very quickly. So I immediately bought a Prowin hop up and a tight bore barrel. When I installed them. The accuracy was AMAZING. It was shooting straight 370 fps with .20s. The battery holder in the stock is huge so u can get a lipo if you want. It is a very reliable gun and I think the biggest reason I got this gun is because it is the only m4 with this design and look. So it's unique and different from almost all m4s. This is a great gun for intermediate airsofters and like all m4s is... Easy to upgrade.

Cons
Very slight stock wobble
Hop up came broken( get the prowin hop up and it works like a charm)
Motor heats up slightly( fully complete your trigger pulls on semi to reduce heat)

Overall a gun with broken hop up out of the box. But with a good hop up and tight bore barrel an EXCELENT GUN.

"Over all this is a good gun. My only problem with it is the hop up is having Issues everything else is soild.

"First Off, This Gun Was Bad At The Start... When I got the gun I took it to my local field and first shot of the gun fired off to the right, I was really pissed that I went to a local airsoft shop to get it repaired and he told me that the gun was very poorly made, this caused me to just leave it in a corner and go and buy another gun... If I could recommend anything, it would be to buy another gun (KWA,G&G. are some good examples)
