"I've had my PPSh for 4 years now, and I've only had to replace 2 parts in it. 1 was a spring in the gearbox that snapped from wear and tear and 2 was the imitation wood stock because it began to crack from accidentally dropping it so many times. This gun is an absolute unit. I would highly recommend this to someone who loves WWII era weaponry and doesn't do teching very often because this thing can handle not being maintenanced often. One thing I would say is replace the imitation wood stock with a real wood one, it's sturdier and feels so much better and more realistic. The only other thing I have to say is DO NOT use a battery that is higher than the recommended voltage because my bolt broke because of an overpowered battery, it still runs great, it just doesn't have the blowback. I'm gonna contradict myself and say if you want the full fire rate of a real one run an 11.1v in it if you dont care about the blowback not working after a while. This thing is worth every penny and the magazines it comes with work great. So to recap

Pros:
Durable
Reliable
Full metal so it will last a lot longer
PPSh
2 magazines
Authentic WWII Soviet feel and design

Cons:
Imitation wood feels weak
Blowback may not last with higher voltage batteries
Proprietary gearbox which is not pleasant to work on

"Amazing Gun I’ve used it in some battles and it was really accurate and very fun to use

"people talk of this gun as one that rips trough bushes and thin obstacles, raining all hell upon all in its path, some people say the range is bad, but its an smg, so go buy a sniper if you want range, not an smg. the rof is great, its slightly slower to allow the hi-cap mag to feed perfectly solid build, I wouldn't throw it around just cause its expensive
in short
Pros
- Loud
- Destructive
- massive mag cap, i never reloaded over 3 king of the hill battles and 2 snowball rounds. ~1h of shooting
- battery lasts forever, we had an ~6-7h meet with different games and it dint even wind down.
- no feeding issues
- tight spread
- good range for an smg
-front heavy (makes aiming very easy)
- its like an affordable cqb SAW

cons
-might be just my sling type, but this thing busts slings like their nothing
- heavy, but its made of thick steal, so duh (like 10-12 lbs with mag)
- plastic stock, its a nice stock, but why not wood, theirs one over the 350fps cqb limit, same price but wood (same company too)
- no attachment compatibility at all, but who needs to am with a wave of 2k bbs aimed at your enemy
- c clips break easily on the bolt system (cosmetic only but annoying) replacements are available.

"Right front C clip broke (cosmetic only) other than that. Its front heavy, meaning easy steady aim, no wiggly parts, easy access gearbox, easy spring releasing and replacing.
With this, rain a terrifying Hailstorm of bbs on your enemies and have everyone in the close vecenety running in terror.
Loud, intemednating, and in the 350 cqb limit.
Best SMG out there, a little on the big side, but that's a pro for me.

"I have had this gun for a little while now and can say that it gets the job done. I have three guns that are for now my primary guns for games and milsims. a ICS l86, a KWA M4, and this S&T PPSH. The ppsh has about a third of the distance of the ICS which is way more than 100ft which makes it great for outdoor use. However it has the FPS of the KWA which means it is the correct fps for indoor play. This means that its perfect for all you people looking for the gun to use at both your local indoor and outdoor fields without having to do mods to it. I'm running a 7.4 lipo right now and it is running like a hog on coals. Externally my gun is very sturdy and this is the polymer stock version. I plan to get the real wood stock soon and wish that was a purchase option instead of buying separately. My one thing is while this is a PPsh and has its' nice semi/full auto switch it kinda stinks. It is very flimsy and i feel like I would rather the gun just have full auto only to save the time of that switch breaking on me down the road. Internally I can see inside the gearbox by a simple pull of the upper receiver and looking past the spring guide. Everything is metal and well constructed and looking just as new and well greased and oiled and what not as if i got it right out the factory. It does have a rotary style hop up and the huge orange tip is actually not that bad on mine two thirds the size in the pictures and a simple tug to get off. Some people have complained at this being heavy, however it is actually lighter than my KWA m4 and its the CQB model so its short. The Magazines are also a huge bonus on this gun. I enjoy having the 2000 rounds but if i want to play indoors and not have a huge plate in my gun i can use the stick mag and all is just as well with about 500 rounds plus. I am also using .25s in this gun and they seem to have better groupings at a distance than .20s. OH and for your fuse it is actually very nicely done wiring on the back very thick wires wrapped correctly and added padding where need so don't worry about the wiring getting cut or snipped by accident. The fuse is also not one of those glass cylinder ones its a the double prong car fuses 20 amp. I hope this helps anyone looking at this gun, I'm not one to market products or review guns but I will say this is one of those guns that does have flaws but is totally worth it in the end especially if you want realism and high quality unlike other WW2 guns on the market.

"I love this gun when I hold it I feel invicible with this power of this weapon. It has worked in the winter and summer but after about 6 months it has stopped working I belive it is my battery because its only 1600 mah but this weapon is a power house but it will jam on a rare ocassion and it's rpm is insane I set up a target and the target from holding the trigger and swiping it the target was cut in half. You have to reset the motor A LOT other than that I love the gun

"I love this gun I think I got it about a year ago and have done no maintenance in this time three issues occurred I had to lower the spring to 300 fps instead of 373 fps then I broke it to no fault of the gun I was new and James a battery in so I had to have the wires soldered the I believe it was dropped on concrete from 5 ft best guess off the ground and I had the gears grinding I believe to to my lack of maintenance the only real problem I have no resin for is it does not work well on semi because the trigger does not always re set right away othe than that amazing and come on it is a Ppsh-41

Pros durable good weight fun lots of battery room great fire rate again fun bolt blows back Accurate

Cons fake wood stock
Trigger not always resetting right away probably a degect with mine no attachment can be applied ( at least not easily )

I forgot my drum mag was shipped broken because it was. It rivited in so I had to send the gun in to get it fixed great gun please buy you will never regret it

"Amazing gun overall, although the stock is not real wood it is sturdy, I love the heavy feel and the blowback of the gun, and especially love that it comes with a drum and stick mag!

Pros:
Heavy
Blowback
Feels great
Two mags
It's a ppsh!

Cons:
Heavy

Being heavy could be a con if that's not what you're into, but I love this gun.

"Oh man... where to start? Let me first start by saying I got this AEG in the box of awesomeness about 8 or so months ago. I have wanted this rifle for so long before then, though. I have beaten the crap out of this gun and she still does not want to give up on me and I plan on making her last another year. This gun has only given me one problem out in the field and that is she will stop firing randomly. Only fix I have for it is to switch the fire modes and it works perfectly. That happens to make once every other time I go. I have tossed this thing in mud and it still works and I have fallen on her and she still works. With constant cleaning and maintenance, this gun will last as long as you'd like her too.

But oh damn is she heavy. Coming in at roughly 8LBs. Fully loaded with the Drum mag it'll come to 9 or so. Are you also buying this as a submachine gun? Good luck with that. It is so long it can barely get through some doors at the field I play at. When I first got the drum mag, it stopped feeding. Turns out the tube that feeds the BBs was not letting the BBs in because it didn't sit right in the mag. Easy fix with some tape. Gearbox takes some version 2 parts but not all. So do not expect her to take all parts.

How does it fire? Well... it is electric blow back and she likes to be noisy. My friends from a distance can make out which gun is mine when people are firing. They will be like "Yep. There is his PPSH." It. Is. LOUD. Do not buy this if you plan on being stealthy because you will not be stealthy with this gun. If you plan on pushing the Nazis away from Stalingrad then you have the right gun! By far my favorite gun and that comes after my M240B, GBB M4 and Pistols.

Pros:
Fun to shoot
Decent FPS: 330-360 (I plan on upping mine soon)
Accurate at Medium to semi-long ranges.
Heavy
Looks very real for reenactors and orange tips comes off after dripping it in boiling water.

Cons: Strap it comes with is terrible! Always have trouble getting it on and off. Ended up just tossing the thing and getting another one
Sometimes will stop firing. Just change the fire modes and it will work.
Heavy
Stock is not real wood (con for me)
Mag didn't work correctly out of the box
by James M. on 12/12/2016
"Upon receipt this is one heavy machine gun, almost duplicating the weight ratio of a real machine gun. The looks are really fantastic, The wood is ABS but there is no mistaking the metal parts, brown stock color, much more appealing than the S&T orange looking model. Functions very well and shoots accurately. The magazines, one drum, and one stick work and function flawlessly. The rear butt plate can be tricky, just go slow and it will take a 9.6 volt brick or a 9.6 volt butterfly battery. I really like it's performance and operational ability. From a collectors standpoint, this is a real keeper. I don't do skirmishes. At 67 yrs of age I just enjoy target type shooting, and this one really fills the bill.

"Wow, a lot of negativity. Maybe i got lucky with mine. This gun is so entertaining. I use it every time I play. It's the first gun I use for the first 2 hours of play, then I switch to my lighter gun(Scorpion Evo). I like its heavy weight and unique look, feel, and the sights are very cool. Warning, the EBB is so loud and clanky enemys can easily here you. I totally dig the clanky sound and shaky feel it gives so I don't care who heres me. I own two Evos, two elite force 1911 pistols, one Krytac, one g36kv, one sniper, but this ppsh is by far the most entertaining to shoot.

"Great support weapon or as a point man weapon.

Great accuracy, the drum mag will spoil any shooter and the unique look and feel is simply amazing.

Over all, I would highly recommend this gun to anyone!
by Evan L. on 03/13/2016
"Pretty awesome gun!

A bit on the heavy side but the 2000 round drum mag justifies the weight. The drum mag wobbles a little in the gun but the rest of the gun is sturdy and solid as a rock.

Pro:
Blowback
Accurate
Drum mag
