Angel Custom PBS-1 Tracer-Compatible Mock Suppressor for Airsoft Rifles (Threads: 14mm Negative)

"Works and looks great on cyma ak74u 10/10

"Got this thing as a replacement due to the Madbull pbs-1 being too heavy on the front of my Ak-105 with the full railed handguard. I have to say this thing was worth it... like one of the guys mentioned it does untwist the 14mm adapter pretty easy due to the adapter being 14mm - and the actual threads being 24 +. However i find if you screw on the adapter first tight as it can go and then screw on the mock suppressor you will find it goes on nice and tight. It does have a rattle which was fixed easily, the front of the suppressor screws off to reveal the inside of it, however the piece that unscrews on mine looks like when it was threaded too much was taken on the outside of the threads creating a slightly smaller fit. I just added threading tape a couple times around and bam all good. This thing is also significantly lighter than the Madbull pbs-1 as madbull added more metal on the inside of the suppressor instead of it being hollow like most mock suppressors out there causing it to be a little of the heavy side. Not too big of a deal when attached to my Aks-74u, but on a front heavy Ak it can drag it down a big as Ak's tend to be lighter in the body.

Pro's:
Looks and feels good
Sturdy
Really light due to it being hollowed out as compared to Madbull

Con's:
Inconsistent threading which causes a slight rattle(easily fixed)
Adapter and suppressor both being opposite thread directions.

Overall get this if you want a decent quality mock suppressor that only has a few quirks that to me are pretty trivial, get this one. The madbull is heavier in the end making it less desirable once you start making your Ak tacticool.

"bought this to go on my polarstar AKM and it worked fine but i noticed 2 problems
1st the fitting to go on the 14mm treads are obviously ccw but the supressor screws on cw so it goes all the way to the sight post pushing back the spring loaded pin and then when you go to tighten it it unscrews the adapter. so i had to put 2 washers to keep it from doing this and it worked fine
2nd being my bbs getting caught in the tube when you shoot it but what are you gonna do.
Overall i really liked it and plan on fitting an inner barrel in it making it a great supressor.

"I'd just like to clear something up: The threads if you take the adapter off are NOT 24mm threads. It will NOT fit on E&L, GHK, and other military specification/demilled airsoft AKs. If you'd like to use this buy the GHK 24mm to 14mm conversion which can be found on this website. Now for an actual review:

Pros:

It's pretty much the only one of it's kind, a traditional Soviet PBS-1 suppressor
Pretty true to the real deal in terms of materials and texture.
solid and sturdy.
Makes you look like Artyom from Metro 2033. get out of here stalker

Cons:

No official markings other then a inaccurate build date. Traditional AK suppressors have the Izmash symbol on the bottom, whereas this just has a generic star. That and the date is set AFTER the Soviet Union collapsed, which is really sad if you are like me and love Eastern weaponry.

Rattly, I'm not kidding this thing is a maraca.

Not 24mm

"Bought this to go on my ak74u by echo 1 it looks amazing on it but there is a crazy stupid problem when it's screwed all the way on it is really crooked so crook I don't even know how the bbs get through For how much this thing cost it's unacceptable and there shouldn't be an adapter it should just be 14mm threads not a junk plastic adapter to attach it to the gun overall ridiculously dissapointed
