G&P Stock Tube for PTS UBR Style Rifle Stocks

This item exists to increase battery space in the original PTS licensed UBR which is no longer produced. It WILL work with SOME Chinese clones(your mileage will vary).

The original PTS UBR was poorly designed with significant portions of the buffer tube mount being obstructed space and the clones copied this design to which it has stayed the same since. The G&P UBR tube eliminates the mounting tube entirely and mounts directly to your replica resulting in more battery space. Based on my experience you get slightly more space than even a traditional buffer tube(emphasis on SLIGHTLY). This makes the PTS UBR or chinese clone ubr's viable if you use those crappy buffer tube lipo batteries.

Please note that it does not come with any mounting hardware. A typical g&P buffer tube screw and spacer will work but you must create another spacer to align the stock to the receiver in order to prevent it from angling significantly upward. I will be publishing a 3d file for 3d printing the spacer soon but until then you can use just about anything that fits.

As for the quality of the item? Its g&p, works well and is quality but should have included all the mounting hardware so I will only give 4/5 stars. Also a bit expensive for what it is.

"So this things cool and all, fits UBRs perfectly and what not. Im sure it would mount to my AEG very nicely too. Only problem is I can't mount it because it doesn't come with the pieces to mount it on to an AEG. I bought this assuming I wouldn't have to buy another full price stock but if you look at the full kits they sell on here you'll see it comes with everything including the spacer between the stock and the receiver. This one does not. So don't waste your money on this unless you already have the proper pieces somehow.
