This is a very good gun as a starter, one of the only PDWs that is an AEG. I tested it out before taking it all apart, it shot pretty well for a plastic hop up. could easily shoot 100ft away. I took it apart so i could throw in my polarstar engine and it works WAY better now haha. one con is that the inner barre is jammed into the outer making it a nightmare to change for a tightbore. but it can be done. Now i have a super cool compact machine thats eye candy to the other players due to its HPA properties. I use the original mock PEQ box to store my battery for the engine , but the PEQ is not the best.
But yes the gun is pretty cool stock, I say well worth the money.
"For a 200 dollar price tag, this is worth every penny. First thing i noticed out of the box was that it shot at field limits rather than CQB, but all the more reason to love it. Only thing I did not like was the crappy mags it came with. Get yourself some mid-caps and you're good to go.
"Love the look and feel of this gun. Shoots very good out of the box. After having it for a couple days I decided to check the inside components out. Solid metal and gears, just seems like good quality. It even came with a 9.6v 1200mah battery. After removing the pin that holds the upper to lower I noticed the pin does not fit securely. I am able to wiggle the pin out just by mpving the gun side to side. I tried adding a longer pin so it will catch onto the other pin but no success. It seems as if the spring that supports the pin is not long enough and was bent. I'm almost certain this is how it came. Also, the second mag it came with appears to be a replica or defective. There is no slide to pour BBs in and it does not feed BBs when loaded through the hole. You will have to buy better mags, and maybe better pins as mentioned. Iron sights are a little wobbly but still stand true. Overall good starter gun can't wait to use it on the field.
