"Good mask, does what is advertises it does perfectly. You hardly feel headshots. I have a larger head, and it fits my head well. It may be just a little tight on my cheeks, but it is by no means uncomfortable. My only complaint is that is obscures my vision, at least in dimly lit areas. I play mostly in a warehouse, this mask makes fine details at longer distances harder to make out and makes seeing anything in the darker corners of the field very difficult. I've yet to use it outside, but if I had to guess, this mask is better used in brightly lit areas.
"I prefer this thing to any jt or dye mask I've ever owned. Yes your looking through a mesh but this thing breaths and you can hear everything. This thing is worth twice what there charging for it. You have to shape it a little to make it fit but one you set it up the way you want it you'll know why this thing is so amazing.
"I bought this item because I tend to be aggressive in play and was taking a lot of face shots. And getting shot at close range, especially in the forehead area, can not only leave a mark but in my case caused bleeding which was hard to stop.
The good news is that since using this device that problem has gone away. I still get shot, but I am not having to explain to my friends (or wife) the next week why I have a lump on my face. Another benefit I received from this is it solves the fogging problem. I live in the central plains and in the summer it is both hot and humid. I have struggled to find a solution, but when I wear goggles over the face mask it allows air to circulate while giving me full eye protection.
I also like the fact that it is very comfortable and light. I have OD green, and I feel it gives me a low profile when peaking over cover.
However, there are downsides. As expected, there is some loss of visibility due to it being mesh. I have not felt a huge loss of visibility and it is much better than having goggles fogged over. And while the mesh keeps everything cool, the foam around the mask does collect a significant amount of moisture due to sweat.
The main thing I dislike about this set up is that it interferes with the ability to aim my gun. Because of the size of the foam around the perimeter of the mask, I find it difficult to fully use the gun sites (I have a red dot). I can sight, but I have to push my face against the butt of the gun to make it work.
