Matrix Spring Upgrade Set for VSR-10 Airsoft Sniper Rifles

That's over 3J but I expect it to calm down over time as the spring breaks in.

Shoots insanely far very accurately with .43g.

If you have a VSR-10, upgrade in this order:

$46 SPEED airsoft sear kit
$35 Matrix spring upgrade set (3J)
$10 Maple Leaf decepticon blue hopup rubber

Then laugh as you outshoot an SSG24. Just please do not shoot anyone closer than 30m.

I got this for my CA m24 but unfortunately it didn't fit right. But I'll continue my personal review after pros and cons.

PROS:
Excellent build quality, it looks so good and I wish it was visible from the outside! The bearings slide right on and fit nicely to the piston component, plus everything else fits just right. The installation is easy.

CONS:
It is not compatible with all VSR-10 compatible rifles, which I believe is the rifles fault at most.

The reason I can make a review is that I worked with it, and ended up using the spring with the stock piston set. The non-compatibility issue was that the all the stock pieces were shorter and the sears were thinner than this set.

The spring is great, definitely increased fps, and hasn't broken anything yet.

"Awesome. Easy drop in replacement. The o ring was loose but if you are patient it fits perfectly with just a little axle grease. I have to echo the 1st review, my JG BAR 10 chronoed out at 583. I can use it where I'm at but with a minimum 100' engagement distance. On Saturday I hit a player from about 250' away with no wind. I suggest you get an upgraded sear pin because I don't think this will wear out the stock sear pin and you will start slam firing. 5 stars.

If your area doesn't allow 583fps then you can cut the spring on link at a time to drop the fps or purchase an fps suppressor.

"Great parts, increased my range by at least 20 yards. the only down side is that is pretty hard to pull back the bolt now, I expected that though.

"Following my last review, I went to a local shop and got my Vsr-10 chronographed. It was averaging 530-540 fps despite the said ~500 fps.

"Great kit. Works flawlessly in the Matrix VSR-10 provided you buy and apply lube on the o-ring and piston. Shoots very strong.

"Bought the spring for my FN Herstal SPR A5M , cut a few rings to get the fps down a bit, I actually had to get a 7/16 drill bit and slightly ream out the piston to get the spring to compress into it, before it was so tight the spring couldn't collapse into the piston to get it to lock back the bolt. after that it was smooth sailing. used it at 2 games (stock everything else) and the gun works well.

"Got this upgrade and it just dropped in easily. Only problem is that I chromed out at 582.1, 582.8 and 582.8 fps. This spring is pretty much unusable where I'm at. I'm a strong dude so I don't have trouble pulling this back. The new cylinder makes the pull smooth and definitely quieter. Docked a star due to the strength of the spring.

"Good for any beginning airsoft snipers. I rather not use the spring that comes with it. I used the 330fps and 380fps springs and it works great. The problem is that it gets scraped greatly over time. I had some slam fires very rarely. Even so, pretty solid product.

"The kit is great! The only bad thing is that you have to use the spring that comes with the kit. I tried using an Angel Custom spring and that spring way too large to fit inside of the piston.

"Bought a M40A3 Sportline which I was told was 100% VSR-10 compatible... this kit does not fit my gun. Only thing I used was the spring.
