    "It's a good, solid mount that holds my Matrix 1x30 red dot sight above my irons. (And holds the actual optic better than the mount that came with it.

    However, the QD mount doesn't lock correctly onto my Echo 1 M4 style rifle. This mount seems more suited for ARs where the top rail is molded/cast into the reciever and not screwed on the top. The Echo 1's rail is slightly larger than say the rail on my G&G body rifle. I had to loosen the screw on the mount in order to actually lock it onto the rifle, and even then the mount sat canted to the right ever so slightly because the rail is too wide to fit properly inside the mount's grooves.

    All in all, it's a good mount. Easy to install 1x30mm red dots into it, and the QD mount has a locking feature which is pretty handy. However, if you're looking to put this on a rifle on anything like mine, I'd suggest looking for something else.
