"horrible gun out of my prospective I was taking off the silencer and the slide came off the fps drop and wow the paint comes straight off

"I bought this gun about 3 weeks ago, and I'm starting to not like it. For starters, the paint on the slide lock began to fade, and now it's basically just a scratched metal surface. I don't even know how it got scratched as I took very good care of this gun. Also, the FPS has decreased since I first got the gun. It feels like the bullet is going shorter and shorter. And if you're wondering, I'm using .2's with this gun.

Another thing to add, do NOT use .12's with this gun. The hop up is crazy, and inaccurate with .12's. And even another con, the safety switch does not budge, (I might just have a bad unit, I'm not sure). The switch to turn the safety on did not work for me. Another major problem I have with this gun is that the trigger is not smooth, and tends to get stuck in the back position. However, there are a few things I really like about this gun.

First of all, I really like the silencer. It looks real, and makes the gun crazy accurate. It adds a nice pop sound to the gun also. (It really just acts as a barrel) But still looks cool. I also like how it feels, it's pretty big and substantial, and has a nice feel. It has a decent FPS overall, but it could be better. I was however able to beat my friend with it. (He was using a pretty powerful shotgun).

Overall, I think this gun is overpriced, and is only actually worth $17.00. If you're looking for a good spring pistol, I would suggest the Crosman Stinger P9 instead.

Pros:
-Silencer is cool and adds accuracy.
-Decent FPS for a spring pistol.
-Good feel, and realistic design.
-Comes with 2 mags, and has a chamber in each mag to store extra ammo.
-I've put about 2,000 .2's in it, and it's only jammed once.

Cons:
-The plastic used in construction is not exactly high quality, and the overall construction feels sloppy and loose.
-Magazines are a bit glitchy, and feel a bit flimsy.
-Trigger get's stuck
-FPS Reduces over time.

"I just recieved this gun today and I am in love with it. For $30 I was expecting it to be a cheap lackluster pistol, but to my suprise, my expectations were entirely wrong. The gun is mostly all plastic, but the more important parts are metal. The trigger, slide lock, mag release, pins, and some internal bits are all metal. The mag wobbles a little bit when in the mag well, but that is easily fixed with a piece of electrical tape. The Slide lock actually works, and the slide locks when your clip of 15 or so shots is out; which I think is awesome for a $30 gun. The silencer is easy to remove, it just unscrews. The gun is very accurate using matrix .20g bbs with the silencer on. I think it would make a great cheap secondary. Also, the silencer does actually quite the gun a bit.

Cliff Notes:

Pros:
-Working Slide lock(that also locks when your clip is empty)
-Metal trigger, slide lock, mag release, pins, and some internal bits
-Very accurate with silencer(a good 60ft to 80ft on a breezy day)
-Good fps
-Hi-cap mag that holds 100 rounds
-Has a useable rail
-Feels pretty solid for being mostly plastic

Cons:
-Mostly plastic
-Not heavy(could be a plus for some)
-Can't really come up with anything else at the present moment.

All in all I really like this gun and would indeed recommend it.

"I love this P99!! I've been looking for a good performing spring pistol that will allow me to utilize the James Bond traits I have and also back up my AEG. A couple of my friends and I gathered up for a weekend game. As usual, we split up into teams and decided on an objective... this time it was eliminate the VIP. Henry and Jess were lucky to have me on their team as I received my P99, equipped with a suppressor... The match began, we had to take out Frank as he was the VIP in this game. The game was quick and fast paced as they took out my team. I ran out of BB's. I ditched my M4. I pulled out my suppressed P99 then I quickly took out the other team one by one. When I got to Frank, he was scared and didn't know what took out his guards. I came out of the brush pointing my gun at him and said, "Frank, say hello to my new Walther P99"

Without that gun, we wouldn't have won that game. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good looking secret agent pistol!
