Reinforced A4 / A5 Handguard for MP5 Series Airsoft AEG Rifle

"I bought this to replace the somewhat filmsy-feeling handguard that came with my Umarex/Elite Force MP5A4/A5. Unfortunately, the flimsy feeling didn't stem directly from the material of the original, but instead from the slight gap between the sides of the guard and the upper receiver of the gun, so this handguard didn't solve the problem entirely (being almost identical in dimensions and fit to the stock handguard). That being said, this guard is still noticeably sturdier, and with a polymer texture that appears more authentic to the real MP5.

Depending on how your gun's default handguard feels in material quality, this could be an upgrade in that regard, or could just feel almost the same, but I still have to recommend it on its own merits. If you need a replacement for other reasons (breakage or general wear), this one might be a good choice for you, plus for me, it came with the added benefit of not having Umarex's trademark wall of white warning text along the side.

"I bought this for my JG matrix RIS MP5 and probably you will need some modification in order to fit it nicely. First, the screw that comes with the RIS will not work. You'll need a larger pin or screw. Also the back does not clamps or fits where the hop up lever is. I can say is hard plastic, looks sturdy.

"no...only standard MP5's (A4, A5, SD5, and SD6). but i think ur able to get RIS Handguards for the standard MP5. it would definitely cost less to get the standard MP5 and an RIS replacement foregrip...but if u alredy have bought ur RIS MP5 then dont bother with this Foregrip.
