||I designed a handguard from Unique-AR about a month ago, and I've recently been able to complete the build. It's a fantastic product, and it adds such a "unique" look to your AR. You'll turn heads whenever you step onto the field.
The quality is top notch. Since it's made for real steel, this is a handguard that can take any abuse that you can dish out. The cerakoting gives a smooth, professional finish.
However, there are some things you need to know if you're going to install this on your airsoft weapon. First, it's not an easy process. You definitely need an AR wrench. There's no way around it. And I also recommend you get a really big bench vice to hold the upper receiver. I installed this on a G&P upper, and it was very difficult. In fact, I broke the first upper I tried it on because the fit is so tight. If you're going to install on a G&P, I recommend you use a wire brush to remove the powder coat on the receiver, and then lube the heck out of the threads. Even then, it'll take a lot of brute force. I haven't tried to install one on any other brands, but my guess is it'll be tight no matter what.
The other issue is that you'll need to purchase the Unique-AR rails if you want any attachments. Normal aftermarket rails won't line up correctly with the screw holes on the handguard.
-Super unique and attractive handguard
-Highest possible quality
-Tubular/Modular handguards are super comfortable
-VERY difficult to install, especially on a G&P.
-You need special tools to install (AR wrench and bench vice)
-Need to purchase the rails separately
If you can get past the Cons, this is a handguard that'll make everyone else jealous.
