Lancer Tactical Sportline Tactical AK Airsoft AEG Rifle - Tan
by Tomas B. Date Added: July 8, 2014
Got this as a loaner gun, but this sportline has much more punch than you'd think.

This airsoft gun has mixed polymer and metal parts, polymer being the lower receiver, rails, stock, and grip; metal being the upper receiver, trigger guard, buffer tube, and outer barrel. The feel is very sturdy, with the typical stock wobble found on many AR platforms. The magazine it came with fits and feeds with no issue, and I opted to get a Dboys Belgian-type midcap and those fit very snugly and feeds flawlessly. One head-spinner right after opening the box, it came partially disassembled; The top and charging handle assembly needs a quick 1min install, nothing serious. I will have to admit the battery space truly sucks. An 11.1v 1800mah matrix lipo CANNOT fit in the space, the battery itself is just a little too fat, although the included 8.4v nimh does fit perfectly. Now performance-wise, with .25g elite force Bbs, I was able to manage to hit a man-sized target at least 120ft with no effort, but after that this AK isn't consistent enough to be used reliably to engage past that, so I recommend swapping the hop-up assembly. The unit itself is flimsy, not to mention the barrel clamp snapped the very first time I stripped it down to swap parts. (oh and to separate the 2 sections, remove the rear iron sight by tapping a flathead screwdriver in-between the grooves of the sight, remove a 2.5mm allen screw underneath, and punch out the giant pin under the iron sight from the right.)

Sorry it took so long, but here is my pros and cons:
-cheap for the price to build/performance quality
-Extremely light
-Rail estate is plentiful
-Able to accept aftermarket mags (NOTE only Dboys/Matrix see-thru and AK-74 types tested.)
-Unique look, does make heads turn
-Decent performance; averaging 365fps w/ .25g elite force BBs at 16-18 rps with an 11.1 15c Tenergy lipo
-Battery space is horrible, cannot fit a matrix 11.1 1800mah ak stick type
-Accuracy past 150ft is not great, recommend getting at least a better bucking/barrel with purchase
-Fuse in wiring takes up battery space

All in all a very worthwhile purchase, those with budgets should definitely pick this up
