Condor Tactical Modular Chest Rig Type I MCR1 - OD Green
by Kenneth T. Date Added: February 27, 2013
This is a very good rig. High quality, durable, and functional.

I am able to MOLLE 4 mag pouches (Phantom) plus one EMT pouch (Condor) along the bottom. The bottom piece actually wraps around the side of my belly as well (Asian, 5' 7", 140 lbs.). I'm also able to attach 4 pistol mag pouches on the top piece. There are a couple of MOLLE weaves on the should pads/straps to mount more things like knives or single pistol mag pouch. On these should pads, there are one or two bungee straps near the top, handy for things like hydration tube or knives.

Note that if you put a kydex-type pistol holster on the top chest piece, there will be no room for anything else there on the same piece.

One thing that did bother me is that there is a huge amount of over hang on the straps when I adjusted to fit my body. I recommend that the excess strap lengths be cut off. That is likely due to my relatively small body size. It also explains why it is more difficult for me to reach the belt buckles (conveniently located on both sides) when putting on the rig. Taking off the rig is very easy.

One thing that would've made it perfect for me is that if there was a back piece, though putting on a hydration pack seems to fill in the space nicely.
