||First off, let me say that I have had this bipod for a couple of months and that I have mixed feelings about it. This bipod when I got it looked great and I was fully optimistic to use it. I noticed that it came with a screw, but no nut. I figured that this wouldn’t matter since I still had my front sling pin and the metal piece which pushes it to stay in place.
After installing it and taking it out in battle I noticed that the metal piece was strong enough to hold my front sling pin in, but not enough when the bipod was equipped. Later it came off, thus making it impossible for the bipod to stay on due to the loose front sling. I tried to find a nut to go with the screw that it came with, but every last choice was too big to fit into my hand guard. I had to hold it with steel wire. I am now going to try an mk36 front sling pin set (for C and K versions) and see if that will work.
Now don’t get me wrong. The bipod looks great, and it looks so flush with my Mk36e2. It’s made of nylon so it’s strong. It was made so you can have movement in the bipod for the perfect shot. It’s pretty easy to fold in and out and even though it may wobble a little, it won’t break easily. If anyone is wondering what weapon I used it was a SRC Gen. 3 Mk36e2
Movement allowed (can move the bipod so to get a good shot)
Easy set up and use
Looks amazing with your g36e or e2
Came with a screw, but no nut thus making it hard for the bipod to stay on the hand guard
