||Lets see, I bought this gun back in 2005 and I must say its really a remarkable gun. The new model is not much different than the current model, but here is my take on the TM M4A1 Carbine. This gun is amazing when you hold it in your hands. Its about 7-8 pounds so its not very heavy, but its very balance. I loved the feeling as soon as I put it in my hand. Sure this gun only shoots 285-330FPS, but if you have your hop up dialed in correctly, it will shoot about 100-135ft with .20 bbs which is remarkable for its FPS. TM puts some kind of Gypsy magic into their hop ups. This gun is meant to last long so upgrading is not really needed, but you can do a lot with this gun, their is endless possibilities when upgrading this gun. I would not recommend running a 9.6v battery through it unless you have upgraded it.
Long Life (Mine is 7 years old and functions like it is new)
Body is high quality ABS
Barrel has a little wobble but it can be tightened to fix that
Battery can be a pain to put in since it lays in the handguard
