A&K Full Metal SR-25 Airsoft AEG Rifle (Model: Full Stock)

"Along with the gun, I ordered a scope and the mock silencer thinking I would need them. The scope is beneficial because you will be picking off targets from a decent ways away. But like most guns, this gun comes with solid iron sights that make it so you don't need a scope. Please note that the package itself did contain 2 rail covers, a fore grip, and to my surprise - a mock silencer. So in turn, I had dropped an extra $40 on a silencer that came with the gun itself. So now I am left with 2 silencers.
I read reviews about the length and weight of the gun, and was not phased by them. When I got the gun, I saw what they meant. With the mock silencer (which I got to upgrade and extended the inner barrel) is significantly longer than my M24. Additionally, the weight is something to consider. I personally love the weight of this gun because it is realistic and because it's a result of the metal parts. It should not effect you as long as you have some muscle on you.
I do recall some people complaining about the stock, and honestly, there's no need to. It's not made out of some cheap McDonalds Happy Meal toy. It's strong and sturdy and does not feel like it will break.
In the field, the gun performs perfectly. It will take out people that you once thought were unreachable. This gun is great to upgrade overtime, and make it even better.
It looks amazing, performs great, and is made well!

"The SR-25 AEG makes the best DMR. I searched endless hours searching for a DMR. I can not have found a better gun. It shoots great. Very accurate. Roughly 410 FPS(constant). I could run a full day off one 9.6 v, 1600 Mah battery. The metal is well constructed, isn't too heavy but id recommend putting a sling adapter on the front for a 2 pint sling. Don't think just buy this gun!

"this gun is amazing. i have had it since june and it is holding up well. extremely accurate, durable, and the range is amazing! however, it could use some upgrades such as a motor and an M120. i would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a DMR that is great out of the box.

pros:
. exceptional build quality
. outstanding trigger response and fire rate
. accurate up to 200+ feet (using .2 gram bb's)
. additional attachments, which, for me, was a foregrip and two rail covers
. the zombie killer trademarks looked very clean on this gun

cons:
. motor heats up even with minor use, may need to be replaced later on

All in all this is an exceptional gun that preforms at very high level, recommend to any airsofter looking for a sturdy and accurate AEG

"This gun is just awesome. Before this gun i was planning on buying a Scar-L until I saw this. For only nine dollars more you get higher FPS and a full metal body. To make it clear, here is a list of pros and cons of this gun

"Just got done putting this gun through the paces. Was able to score multiple kills through thick foilage in my last game using .25s. Great accuracy and feels like it can take a beating. With an inner barrel upgrade and maybe a bucking upgrade this gun will out class most guns, even those far above the price of this one.

Foregrip sucks, but that's not what you are paing for here.

"Excellent gun right out of the box, it shoot hard and far, but I did upgrade it with a Bravo 509mm 6.03 tight barrel & a Madpul bucking and it shoot even better. I have not chrono it yet but I can tell it better then stock. I use a Zippy 7.4v 30c 5000mah Lipo & the best mid-cap for it is the Magpul PTS 120rd.

"Originally I had my eye on the SR12 & SR25 for a while and couldn't decide which one I really wanted that fit my style. Then I saw the SR25K and didn't even hesitate ordering it on-line. I received it last week Thursday and unfortunately due bad weather and leaving town, I only had the opportunity to test it out in my backyard (1/4 acre). In short, this AEG totally rocks my world.

My review based on out of the box, but only in backyard with mock battle type fire applications:

Pros:
Internal upgrades are perfect for the price
Awesome ROF
Feels meaty and solid, should take a beating
Extremely accurate within 220ft
Not as noisy as I expected, which is nice
Well balanced weight distribution
Crane stock is perfect for this gun
Mag release is perfect
Rear fully adjustable site is a nice stock item
Hop-up tool is handy


Cons:
A little heavy (+10 lbs) and long, but ok for a sniper/AEG classification
Probably would've been ok having a shorter rail system
No 3 shot selector feature
Scope not provided in package
Cheap battery charger, recommend not using it
Fairly wide magazine, slows down the mag change in a battle
Excellent sniper weapon, very good for support fire but probably wouldn't be too flexible in CQB


Recommendations:
Switch to a 9.6v Li-Po battery, due to ROF, high-torque motor, and version-3 gearbox
Must add a scope, doesn't have to be high-end type-increases accuracy beyond 150ft and looks very se_ y with it
Optional-Silencer/barrel extension gives a SR25 front end look which is nice
Get a battery backup
1 more magazine

If you are the type that likes sniping just as much as field battles, then this gun is absolutely for you. If your strong and agile enough to handle a SCAR or M14 or SAW in field battle scenerios, then you'll like this AEG, cause in my opinion only, it out does all three.

Listen, if you wish your fully loaded high performance spring sniper rifle could manually reload quicker, if you wish your AEG could be more accurate and provide better field support, if you wish you could do either as needed in a given battle, then look no further, tryout this gun and you decide.

"This gun is awsome I have had it for a while now. This gun is very acurate from a distance too. The power on it is fast over 400 fps. Extremly custamizable with all the railings. Has a good weight to it. It only acepts SR-25 mags the M4/M16 will not fit. This is an exellent gun highly recomend.

"I have had this gun for over a year now and im not sure if i happened to get lucky and get one of the best however i have had no problems at all and a very tight id say around 6 inch grouping at around 100 feet and this is the most reliable airsoft gun that i have owned use .25s and the hop up must be adjusted to get the best range i dont see the point in upgrading this gun and risking the amazing crafstmanship that lies in this gearbox this gun still chronos over 400 fps a year later.

"Very good rifle,very good accuracy right out of the box.Build quality is also quite good,being very rigid as well as strong.I was able to shoot 1.5" groups at 50' open sited,and 2.5" groups at 75'.The rifle came with a fluted outter barrel,ambidextrious mag catch,sniper charging handle latch,and a metal M4 style hopup.I grafted an EBR rear stock to the lower reciever,installed a Madbul PSG-1 6.03mm inner barrel,and a King Arms 290mm suppresser.Next I plan on installing a Classic Army SR-25 bore up kit to better handle the added barrel length.When completed I will have a very uniquely styled sniper shooting some where between 430-470 fps with select fire

"This gun shoots full auto / semi. Great price, nice RIS, I switched out the crane stock to a standard LE M4 stock. (And just use the lipoly stick type battery.) Works better and easier to switch out batteries.

I purchased this gun maybe 2 weeks ago and it has surpassed my expectations. As posted in other reviews there is some speculation as to what this package comes with. All I can say is that mine came with a vertical grip, two rail covers, flip up iron sights, an un-jamming rod, and a mock silencer. There was no battery that came with my package. As for the durability of the firearm, I just used it in a private game and it performed outstandingly. I could accurately engage targets slightly beyond 150 ft (take note I only used an 8.4v battery). I bought a 4x magnification scope and turned mine into a sniper style weapon, and without any form of internal upgrades, the gun performed very well.

Pros:
-accuracy
-range (150 ft.+)
-fps (I did not chrono test the gun but it was between 390 and 420 fps with 8.4v)
-Realistic look and feel
-Awesomeness (How many people really have an SR-25?)

Cons:
-My only complaint is that the vertical grip that came in the box broke when I tried to put it on the gun.
-This gun does weigh around 12 pounds and is very long, especially with the mock silencer. This is only a con if you do not want a heavy gun.

This gun easily earns 5 stars.
