"I bought this for my CM031C (AKS74) the other day, and man am I impressed. Why be like the basic airsofter with your standard looking silencer when you can go for the unique Warsaw pact-eastern block look!
Like the previous guy said, it comes in 4 pieces, but it is already pre-assembled, and pretty easy to take apart/put together.
Few things to take note:
- Comes in 4 pieces, but can be assembled/disassembled really easily.
- Many people would say "this won't fit", but it's probably because they didn't remove the Flash Hider Adapter. The Flash Hider Adapter screws onto the rifle barrel, the Flash Hider then screws on to the Flash Hider Adapter. With this said you have to remove the Flash Hider Adapter to put on the PBS Silencer.
- The inside is somewhat hollow, so you can stuff some materials inside if you like to be technical.
It's 65 bucks, but its worth it!

"I bought this to give my various AK's a unique look, but mainly just for my Echo 1 CPM (AKS74U)
On my CPM, this silencer looks amazing, however there is a downside. On the Echo 1 CPM, the front sight is where the thread for flashhiders is, it's one piece. The front sight is held on the gun by a screw and a pin. The weight of this silencer causes the screw to come loose resulting in a crooked silencer which means a crooked shot. This however I'm sure can be fixed with some superglue and common sense.
The AK PBS Silencer gives an extremely unique look to AKs and depending on your specific gun it can be solid as a rock, or come loose every now and then.
The silencer is actually 4 different pieces, but it arrives at your door assembled and ready to rock and roll... quietly.
Pros:
Adds balance to AKS74Us which are rear-heavy
Has russian words on the bottom (no idea what it says but adds to authenticity)
Instantly adds an intimidating look to any AK, even M4's look awesome with this thing!
Cons:
Wobbly once attached to gun, but this depends on your specific AK.
