"To anyone out there with an echo1 m28. This piston will work in your gun. It is actually slightly longer then the stock piston. The only modification needed is the two little white plastic rings at each end of the piston need filed down. I used light sand paper wrapped around the outside of the rings to make it even as possible. And just checked it every couple of shaves. Got it to the right width lubed it up and reassembled. Seemed to shoot fine. Haven't tested at a range yet will edit post once that is done

"Be cautious while upgrading. This is a 45° piston to go with a 45° sear. I did not know this until I had put this piston and angel customs sear set with an m170 spring into my gun. pulling the bolt back was easy(as easy as an m170 spring can be, anyway) but when you go to pish it back I to the closed position, it feels like it grinds and scrapes. If you plan to go above maybe an m150 spring, just spend the extra money and get a 90° setup.
