"Perhaps a bit overpriced but it's sturdy, looks nice and is a very consistent and easily tuned unit.

"As a Tech for my team using KWA and Ares rifles, I've heard a lot of back and fourth from team members about which is better. Personally, I've found it depends on the build. For quick adjustments, a pro-win is the obvious answer. It is easy to adjust, but tends to move if you don't use an oversized bucking such as a Maple leaf or a G&G green. The retro arms, In my personal build (Ares M110), is harder to adjust, but the benefit for that is that it has never lost pressure on the nub in an engagement at 200+ feet, something important when you are counter snipping. I would recommend Flat hopping on both builds if you want to get the best performance. (Unless you can R-hop) Either is a good choice. But After my previous issues with the pro-win (late 2017), I will be sticking with retro-arms until they increase QC.

--Retro Arms-- (Good for long range builds)
Pros:
Stiff and doesnt move once you set it.
2 ways to tension the barrel,
large window for the nub
Cons:
Doesn't Fit stock KWAs (Vers 2.5+), Some G&P, or most Ares without cutting

--Pro-Win-- (Good for the everyday user, and with a little work, long range builds)
Pros:
Fits most TM style guns
Easy to adjust for quick games
Large window for nub (slightly smaller than retro arms)
Cons:
Doesnt fit Stock KWA (Vers 2.5+) or Ares (M110, cant speak for others)

"Do I recommend this? Absolutely, but there are pros and cons as with anything

Pros:
-Good quality construction, sturdy
-easy to assemble
-Works very well when paired with a good bucking
-looks nice
-Hop Up is easily adjusted while installed

Cons:
-Does not seal well to the barrel, now this can be fixed with the O-Ring Mod and/or teflon tape. I used both, now it is flawless.
-No instructions, may be a deal breaker for some people

Overall I highly recommend it, especially for $30 over an OEM Plastic replacement in the event your hop up is broken!

"This is a good hop up and I would recommend this to anyone with a stock hop up. The wheel dial is really a drastic improvement to the hop up design. All companies should make wheel hop ups. With that out of the way this is solid unit for the price easy to assemble and easy to use holds its zero. I bought a used manufactured with in the last year. Yes it does make a difference on when you purchased this hop up, about 18-24 months ago they changed the process from CNC to cast just to give you guys a heads up. The only CNC machined hop up unit for the m4/m16 is the retro arms hop up.

pros
huge improvement over a stock hop up
easy to assemble
better range

con
Not CNC machined like its advertised(if manufactured with in last 18 months)

"This chamber is great but if you ever lose the parts you have to buy a whole other hop up chamber! Evike should contact Prowin or Amped Airsoft to get replacement parts for this chamber. Also there are fitment issues with the Modify Baton Ryusoku Bucking and this chamber, the lips don't let BBs go through unless you really push hard on the BBs thus leading to feeding issues. Be careful with the parts and be careful of Flat Hop mods.

"its a great quality product, but it doesnt fit well in a dboys m4 spr, the magazine doesnt fit, the hop up its a little inestable ( moving right to left)... anyways looks nice, easy to assembly, and i think its going to work in another aegs but not on dboys.

"Decent hop up chamber; range and accuracy is great with a Guarder 70% bucking and a Angel Custom H Nub. The machining and finish are of great quality, but not nearly as good as the Retro Arms Hop Up chamber. This unit is good, but personally I think the Retro Arms unit is of better quality and more durable.

"The adjustments are great super fine and stay where put but I bought three different buckings and third one is the only one that wouldn't leak so do some looking for the right bucking and this hop up will be as great as it should be

"This hopup performs flawlessly. I purchased it when I noticed that the stock hopup for my Lonex m4 seemed to apply pretty inconsistent hop. This thing is light years ahead of the standard gear design. The rotary design of this unit stays in place very well, and its application of hop is much more predictable and gradual than any other unit I've used. Unfortunately, the unit did not sit as far forward as my original hopup, so it was constantly missfeeding when I purchased it. Finally, I simply installed a small o-ring onto the back of the unit, and it now feeds perfectly.

Pros
CNC design (no air leaks)
Anodized finish
Rotary design for much more consistent and predictable application

Cons
A little pricey
Was not really a drop-in upgrade like other units I've used

"The product is in great shape but I must warn you that it will not fit in select classic army guns as it appears they use their own model. Particularly in the Classic army DT4. I was hoping to replace both hop ups for these but they will not fit into the hop up well because the top is much taller.

"I really expected perfection from this unit. However inside the chamber it had a slight defect which scratches bb's and my nozzle. I spend about 2 hours carefully smoothing the casting defect away. I wouldnt expect to see that in other units, just a rare defect. This hop up unit doesn't have a notch at the top of the feed tube to prevent the bb's from slipping into the barrel from the mag pressure. Which hasn't been an issue for me but could be for others with different setups. Also the unit has material in the way where the nub touches the bucking, so if your planning on using any nubs that are longer then a standard tube nub it will snag up on it and create uneven pressure. The arm is very evenly casted and will put even pressure on the nub. The dial is very good and not super sensitive like a standard hop up. This hop up unit works better with thicker buckings, thin ones like g&g g&p lonex and such will be too thin to seal without Teflon tape.

This hop however isn't poop and is still very good and feeds very well. I'm just nit picky when it comes to spending this much money on a hop up unit, I expected better.

"This causes my mags to not feed. I used hex mags, elite force, k120. Only works with high caps.

"I don't like mine very much. I prefer Krytac's stock hopup chamber in every way. The hopup arm pin is very easy to loose in particular.

"While this hopup chamber looks and feels amazing, I will never buy it again. For something that should have been a relatively easy upgrade, this caused so much more hassle that it was worth and still isn't even working as it should. Saying I have to modify my gun would be an understatement. I had to take apart the whole entire gun 3 times for it to line up correctly. Even with it modified, I would still have to take the motor out everytime I wanted to pull the barrel out. And to top it all off, when I finally got it all finished and closed up, the arm for the hopup nub fell off meaning I will have to redo my whole process again.

Pros:
-Looks cool
-Feels very sturdy

Cons:
- Doesn't fit my Echo 1 Mrf-c M4 without heavy modification and cutting
- The nub arm does not have a lock, so it will fall out

"I had nothing but problems with this hop up chamber. Every time I tried to shoot it would double or triple feed. I tried different magazines, different BBs, different buckings, different barrels, and different spacers, but it would always double and triple feed. I heard these were supposed to be the best, so maybe I just got a bad one.

Pros
CNC aluminum
Lightweight
Comes with all parts need for a chamber
Precision dialing

Cons
Double and triple feeds
Uses a screw instead of a spring to seat properly
