"very fun to use and looks cool especially when firing it does make the rifle a bit heavier but overall is good only one thing if u have any KWA m4 series you might have to trim down the bayonet lug so that the M203 can fit properly other than that i loved it and it scares a lot of players when fired

"Bought this to install on a WE M16 GBB, along with the G&P heat shield hand guard, because how can you have one without the other?

On its own the launcher is a well made, good looking item. The two detractors are the white G&P logo and the cheap looking plastic hand guard/rack on the grenade launcher. It is on the shiny side, with slightly uneven molding in the plastic (cosmetic only)

With some Dremel modification I was able to install the launcher so that it fit very evenly

Hand guard is loose and will wobble around. I have not attempted to shim it in any way, although it may be possible.

Trigger guard is rather flimsy and can very easily be bent out of shape. Of course it is also very easy to bend it back into shape...

I have grenades from two manufacturers, SHS and King Arms, and the launcher fits and fires both.

Word of warning--the design of this launcher is such that shells are retained at the firing pin, allowing them to fall freely when the barrel is opened to reload. They do NOT stay in the barrel.

With the launcher and the heat shield hand guard, rifle looks absolutely awesome.

It does, of course, make the rifle front heavy.

My launcher came with a bright red, rifled, 7 inch plastic tube super glued into the barrel. This was the federally mandated tip required for shipping. It came off on its own while I was working on it. Painted black it may look pretty good if installed flush with the end of the barrel.

Not perfect, but recommended.

"Just got my G&P M203 in the mail - mounted it right onto my G&P M16A1. Rather than the one pictured on the site, I got one with fully engraved Colt M203 trademarks, rather than etched G&P ones, which was an awesome surprise. I had been searching for that model, but I could only find it from overseas dealers, and all of their shipping policies claimed that all trademarks would be removed, so I chose to get this one instead. Like I said - I was very happy. However, there was no orange tip on the launcher when I received it, which in the end is fine - I would've just removed it anyhow. But had it been stopped and checked, I'dve been outta luck.

I did have a few initial problems that I've found solutions for. The first problem was that the M16 barrel band was about 1/4" too short, so the M203 wouldn't stay put. All I did was put a 550 chord spacer on the hand guard ring. Then the second problem was that with regular opening force, the barrel would push past the disassembly latch. I just taped a quarter under the other end of the latch so that it won't disassemble without me having to remove the quarter. Overall, this is a very solid launcher.

"Works well, had small problem but was fixed it modification.

Works with Taginn Rounds.
Trades are visually pleasing.
Operates smoothly.

Firing pin has two pieces, the end that hits the grenade is plastic and broke off, fixed with glue and metal piece.
some Shower shells shot off when loaded due to firing pin even when M203 was safety.

- Metal and polymer construction.
- Good weight (A bit lighter than a real M203)
- Functional safety.

- The tube is very wobbly
- If you rack the tube forward to hard it slides right off.

The wobble is less noticeable and loud if you hold the m203, I only really notice it when Im using my one point sling.
