VFC / Umarex 120rd Mid-Capacity Magazine for H&K HK417 Airsoft AEG Rifle

"I purchased 7 of these mags to go with my limited edition 417. I initially experienced feeding issues with the magazines in semi-auto fire mode (and this issue is on all 7 mags). I discovered that for the mag to feed properly in semi-auto you can only fill it with about 60 rounds. That's 40 rounds short of the advertised capacity but if you're into MilSim like me that's a non-issue. If the mags are filled to 60 rounds then they perform absolutely flawlessly every time.

Also on the size of the mags, they are huge much like the G36 mags. I use double M14 mag pouches which hold two M14 or SCAR-H mags and the pouches will only hold one of these 417 mags. It does appear however, that Evike offers mag pouches specifically for the 417 mags so that may be something to look into purchasing to go along with these magazines.

But other than the before mentioned capacity flaw and the mag pouch compatibility issue these mags add an aggressive look to an already beastly gun. I absolutely love my 417 and you will too. Buy one!
