ARES Accuracy International AW338 Airsoft Sniper Rifle - OD Green

"So I just received this gun yesterday and ill I have to say is WOW! You honestly get what you pay for. This gin is very powerful, made of VERY durable materials and is definitely upgradeable with vsr 10 parts. I ended up putting a new piston, spring, spring guide and innerbarrel and they all fit like a charm. the trigger box luckily has a vsr 10 piston sear, so if that wears down then it can be replaced. Overall this gun is absolutely gorgeous and shoots like a dream!

Pros:great build material.
accurate as hell.
upgradeable
stunningly beautiful

Cons:a little on the heavy side. 12.5 ponds with scope and bipod.
does not include awesome flash hider shown on ARES website.

"The ARES AW338 is a spring powered sniper rifle that shoots around 420-450 FPS.

It's made of a very solid polymer which is a type of plastic but it's extremely durable and feels rather nice and classy compared to other plastic bodies. It came already assembled in the box so the box was rather large but externally it is top class and probably the most well made and best looking L96 type rifle right now.

The internals are also just as impressive and very unique because of ARES' TX system which means there is a little chamber inside the gun that takes the bullets from the mag (since it's in the right place) to the hop up which is placed towards the front of the gun. So the chamber has to have around 10-20 to fire. Think of the first 10-20 BB's like fuel for your gun; these 10-20 BB's only serve to make the gun fire. Gun does seem to jam frequently but I think that's because the lubricant dried up inside my gun.

Pros:
-Aesthetically it is a beauty
-Fluted Barrel
-Great working bipod
-Monopod is fully functional
-Folding stock works great
-Mag is in the right place
-Scope rings work very well
-Solid external/internal finishes
-Shoots very hard and extremely accurate (zero in your scope)

Cons:
-ARES TX system takes time to get used to
-The magazine fits in very tightly so the mag gets scratched easily (it's ok though)
-I had to order the flash hider from ARES directly from Hong Kong (the spring version does not come with the flash hider in the US but does with the gas version)
-Can't add suppressors since neither the flash hider or the orange tip is threaded (you can go to a machinist and pay them to do this for you though)
-Sometimes the BB's get jammed so you have to take care of it
