Although they add weight to the front end, I say these are worth getting but get them if you plan on using them cause then they're just unnecessary weight. Submited By: David S. Date Added: Saturday 16 February, 2013 A MUST HAVE if you've got an S&T TAR-21. The stock plastic rail will crack around the machine-screw holes over time. The second rail mounts in the unused bolt handle cut-out on the right side of the gun using compression nuts and machine screws and is a solid enough platform for all but maybe the TP roll holder when you're deployed at a bad Tex-Mex joint. BTW, if you're looking to put any kind of tube optics on the top rail of the S&T TAR-21, you'll need a 3/4" rail riser to clear the rear sight. Submited By: Daniel L. Date Added: Friday 25 January, 2013 Very nice. They replace the abs rail on the TAR-21 and give you a little side rail space. They're cheap, so go ahead and buy them if you have a Tavor.
