Emerson Compact High Speed Plate Carrier (Color: Coyote Brown)

"I'm an active duty marine infantryman I bought this put soft and hard armor plates in this I've had it and used it on field ops ranges pt u name it for 3 years it's held up pretty good ,
Pros : comfortable
Fits large plates
Good velcro
Pretty good stitching
Drys fast

Cons: stitching on kangaroo pouch ripped (I just punched 3 holes n zip tied it ) that half @$$ repair has yet to fail
Buckles are Brittle (I replaced them with eagle industry buckles)

Overall I love this I used it for work n for airsoft as well as working out its not as good as a real eagle industries spc but it's definitely a realsteal quality.

"This plate carrier is pretty good for beginners and even people who have been playing for years. It comes with 3 M4 mag pouches and two grenade pouches and they can be easily removed or moved around. This is ideal if your running a weapons such as a SCAR H or AK series of rifles that have different mag sizes. Overall this plate carrier is very high quality, lots of customization, and absolutely worth the money

"Was able to compare this directly to the Condor Gunner vest. I liked the way this one fit enough to pay the extra cost.

The shoulder straps on mine were of different lengths (about 1.5"), but you're easily able to adjust the shoulder straps to "match" and all is well.

Pouches are attached with "weaved" molle straps. No biggie, but I'd never seen them before and took a bit to figure it out.

A real comfortable PC for a good price.

"Tried a friend's vest on and it was excellent. It's nearly a 1:1 replica of the Scalpable Plate Carrier by Eagle Industries which the USMC uses, but the color is slightly lighter. The coyote brown here matches the 'light coyote' as its called, which is seen in the desert marpat pattern. The woodland marpat coyote, which is true coyote, is darker than this vest but that's no big deal.

Pros:

Comes with those extra patches

Cons:
Color is a tad lighter than USMC coyote but its hard to tell.

"I just got this vest and let me say....WOW! I love this vest. I've been wanting it for a while now and finally I went to the evoke store and got it. When the sales rep was helping me and brought the vest I immediately new it was going to be awesome and when I tried it on I fell in love, haha.
Pros and cons:

Pros:
Lightweight
Durability (made of great material to last for years!)
Easy to adjust (can fit most body sizes)
Great mobility and manuverability to reach around and grab those spare mags!
Lots of MOLLE space (enough to go camping!) lol
Velcro strip on front for various patches (personally thats just me)

Cons:
Upper back exposed (that is very minor so no big deal)
Other than that, NOTHING!!!

"I've had this for a few weeks now and I have to say that this plate carrier is outstanding! The coyote brown color matches Usmc speculations for both desert marpat and woodland marpat and is fully customizable and easy to adjust. It fights nice and tight no matter what size you are and it's really not heavy at all! The material is very nice and should last years of use. You will not be disappointed if you buy this plate carrier!

"it is really good but the ranger green is more gray than green otherwise its an amazing vest.

"I recently purchased this vest in Ranger Green (RG) to run a more "infantry" style kit versus always running a JPC. Right off the bat I wasn't thrilled when I received it. I've outlined below:

Pros:
- Fits great
- Plenty of real-estate to pouches, mags, accessories
- You do get x2 grenade pouches and a triple pouch that will hold 6 stanag mags nicely

Cons:
- It is no where close to Ranger Green. Everything I own from vests, PCs, JPCs and clothing is RG. The photo on the site looks RG for sure, but the one I got is almost blue. It has a "shiny" quality to it and next to my battle belt and pouches it is at least 5 shades lighter. It's not OD, Army Green, or plain Green it is a gray/blue color and it was very bizarre as I have yet to see any color like it. Furthermore, the webbing is RG but it is the rest of the carrier that is not.

All in all if you are not a stickler about color this PC has a lot of pros to it that makes it an overall great carrier, but for the price I paid it should be at least the green. If it was only a little lighter I wouldn't mind but it is not even close.
