I ordered these to try them out, and after a roughly 500 round test run, I'd give them a 4.5 out 5 if I could.
I was a little afraid to try these in my AEG, given the reputation of previous attempts at a "marker bb." There was not visible residue inside the bottle, and I couldn't find any deformed or misshapen bbs. After shooting a few out of my spring pistol, I decided to move up to my G36c.
I've got a gen 4 JG MK36c, with a Mad Bull 6.01 tightbore (great barrel which i highly recommend, but that's for a different story). I thought for sure these would jam with a 6.01mm barrel, but they didn't. I fired roughly 500 rounds without a single jam. Accuracy isn't quite as good as Matrix .25s, but i don't feel like it was a very significant difference. Rand and power is still very good.
Now for their marking capabilities: I was a little disappointed at the mark they left. It isn't as bright as the bottle advertises, but it does leave a mark. The coating seems to work best on dark colored fabrics; perfect for most airsoft gear. the somewhat disappointing mark they leave is the only reason i'd give them a 4.5 if i could.
After all, these bbs do exactly what they are supposed to do, and perform well in the range/power/accuracy department to boot. These would be great for cold weather winter games, when you're wearing so many layers you don't feel hits that you normally would. These offer positive proof of a hit. These are also great if you play with guys don't always call themselves out when hit. I really recommend giving these bbs a try. Thanks for reading!
