Real Wood Conversion Kit for Thompson M1A1 Series Airsoft AEG

"I just finished installing the M1A1 wood stock conversation kit to the gun. The wood looks like its of a good quality and finish is very good. Just the right tone to make it look real and not fake wood plastic that came with the gun. The only negative was that I had to do some slight modifications to make the wood fit just right. No major cutting of the wood to make it fit into the gun. I would recommend Evike's wood kit for both the M1A1 and the 1928 version of the Thompson Machine Gun.

"I purchased this wood kit years ago, like around 2010. I freakin’ loved it! It’s easy to mount and fits perfect on the CYMA tommy gun. I highly recommend this to any ww2 Airsoft mil-Simer that wants to have a more realistic version of the old Thompson. I have been told by others that the color is a tad off, but it doesn’t bother me because the real wood gives it such an authentic feel and look!

"Great overall gun it is heavy construction. The mag is a bit hard to put in and remove but it is accurate. The plastic is the biggest downside. The "wood" looks good but feels light compared to the rest of this heavy duty construction. The stock has plenty of room for batteries. The only thing i dislike is the plastic orange tip. It is oversized and looks a bit cheesy. Works great and amazing deal for the price. It is as accurate as my brother's $300 m4 and has a good rate of fire. All in all 5 stars no problems and a great gun. Thanks again Evike!

"I purchased both the M1A1 and M1928 stocks. Read my major review of the M1928 stock. Much more detail there and overall positive. The main difference between the two was the forestock for the MIAI was poorly inleted for the swivel. To narrow, to long, not deep enough and the screw holes were to wisely spaced requiring dremel and putty work. A major problem that makes no sense is that the mounting hole for the forestock was drilled at an angle for the M1928 not straight in as needed for the M1A1. This required careful dremel work and left a oval hole where it should have been round. Why they did this makes no sense because it cannot be mounted without the modification. Otherwise the details as to other issues and observations are dealt with my review of the M1928 stock which I gave four stars but actually rates just a little less to be honest. A 3.8 to be truthful.
