I was happy when I saw this on Evike. We own a 10 yr old Tokyo Marui M16 that my second son had a lot of fun with. It looked like it had 10 yrs of fun on it too. I bought this and used most of the original Marui parts to make an awesome M16 sniper out of it. Kit was very nice including a new metal hop up which I needed since the old one had many miles on it. I added a new full metal V2 gear box with metal bushings and a scope from a cratered spring sniper rifle and now I have a rocking good M16 sniper for my two youngest boys to fight over.

The overall finish of this metal body is great. for the price it is the best metal body to get and is great for a custom gun( built my cqb m4 from this). This body is great to build off of and is good for both rear and front wiring. There are a few parts that you will need before hand as the other review says but they are cheap buys. The functional bolt catch is cool to have but be careful when installing it so that you don't bend the dummy bolt plate. The one problem I encountered is that with a jg gearbox the upper receiver was not able to close all the way. If you don't want to do any work on the body and are planning to use a jg gearbox don't get this but it was a simple fix to make it fit( all I had to do was dremel down the upper portion where the upper and lower receiver pin meets). The trademarks are slightly more grey than showed in the image and I personally like it better.

This kit was excellent for my G&G M4 DSR except for a couple things.

Pros:
-Full Metal
-Functioning Bolt Catch
-Full Metal Hopup
-Awesome Evike Branding :D
-Designed for a rear wired gearbox

Cons:
what it doesn't come with but could (and you'll need)
-Selector Switch
-Trigger Guard
-Magazine Release
-Charging Handle (does come with the spring, and forward piece though)

All in all an excellent kit! looks great! just make sure you have the other parts for it.
