A quick install and the fact that it comes with both types of threading makes this a fine extension. If the text isn't your thing, the threading makes it align with the bottom and you can still paint over it if you feel like it. The construction was solid with a sturdy looking metal wall inside that will also help align your barrel and I haven't managed to chip anything yet.
