(Take off back, unscrew one of the knobs on top, stick the antenna through a knob on top, leave the back taken off the dummy radio and have it securely mounted in a pouch. You won't be able to adjust the volume on it without taking it out of the dummy case, but a quick do if required)

I always use this on the back of my plate carrier as a Squad Leader.

"Pretty solid build. Kinda wish the buttons could be pressed and I wish the antenna was more flexible but over all pretty good for the price.

"I was looking for a dummy radio (PRC-148 or 152) that could house my Baofeng UV-5R. This one fit the bill almost perfectly. I had to sand down some of the inside in order for the case to close entirely. Other than that, the dummy radio is pretty straightforward - you could even hide an mp3 player in it if you wanted. It's very sturdy too so I'm not worrying about it breaking on me at all.

"This looks decent but thats where it stops. I know this is more or less for storage or that cosmetic look but not worth the price. Plastic is super cheap and seems like it will break easily. This unit should be priced no more than $10-15 at most.
