Required medium-light modification to fit in my KWA 2GX G36c. It is a great looking and high quality piece. My only problem, is that at its best, it performed no better than the stock hopup body. Accuracy and range were almost exactly the same, however, it shot consistently 30-35 fps slower. I currently have this installed in my JG and it works much better than the stock hopup chamber.

Good buy, just not for a KWA.

Ive fully upgraded my CA G36c with matrix internals, and once i got this part in, it worked amazingly. This plus a madbull 363mm tight bore barrel gave me the accuracy and range my gun needed. The main difference between this hopup and the stock one is consistency. However this piece did not want to cooperate with the other parts from my old hopup as this one does not come with anything but the body. Fortunately I have access to a manufacturing facility and was able to remedy this problem.

Pros:
Looks awesome (blue one)
Consistency in bb spin

Cons:
Needed lots of love and tools to fit.

Great upgrade, but there is a risk of it not fitting. Hopefully nobody else has this issue.

I just got this hop-up a few weeks ago and I have to say this is a must-have priority upgrade for anyone with a G36. It's incredibly more durable than the stock plastic one's any Mk36 or other G36 comes with. It increases both the range and fps of the gun just slightly from what I was seeing.
Compared to the plastic stock hop-up, it adds about 10 feet onto the range, and about 25 FPS onto the muzzle velocity. I assume this is because of a more complete seal. Plus, the Blue (or Red) metal look of the hopup adds a really stylish touch to the overall appearance of the gun when the charging handle is pulled back.

And just to answer the question up front: Yes this is completely compatible with the ARES G36, and if anything performs better than the stock hop-up by far.
