In this case, it wouldnt make since to have real plate, so you could really use anything to make the vest more sturdy, like cardboard or plastic. hopes this helps. Submited By: Tim R. Pros: Build Material is what you get for the price Cheap Padded MOLLE Easy to adjust Cons: Major design flaws (bendable at chest, nearly becomes folded when bending forward) I'm a larger guy and I cannot get this thing tight enough to stop bouncing up and down Not a ton of MOLLE space Not very big (this basically only convers the chest)\ Very square (doesn't conform to body) Not breathable (with the padding) Not very adjustable I suggest spending a bit more on a vest. I run lightweight gear and decided to go from a crossdraw to this. After a day of use I fell in love. You can not go wrong with this if you play lightweight. I run a triple stacker mag pouch, an admin, and a ID tag plank and still have some room. Condor and Evike have outdone themselves, yet again Evike, on customer service. Thank you guys!
