"I have used this exact style of belt for years, and since no one feels the need to be educated, this belt is not MEANT for your belt loops, if you want to held up your, pants go to walmart. This is a PISTOL BELT and if you know how to put your gear on there, this belt design will last you until the trumpets sound...yes, it is 2" wide, unless you are 4". I am 5'9 (69 inches) meaning, this belt is only 2.9% of my height even if you are 4' (48 inches) tall, this is still only 4.2%, relax.

If you have trouble with the belts ability to stay on your waist, tighten it.

I know from personal experience (I was in the Army) that these are not exactly made to be worn like a normal belt. These are attached to the bottom of an LBV (Load Bearing Vest) or body armor if compatible. It's made to hold more items than normally possible on a standard LBV, like canteen pouches or holsters. Just so you (and everyone else) knows. When I wore mine it was about at the bottom of my ribs, a good 4 to 5 inches from where my rigger belt (standard issue) was.

On another note, this looks exactly like the kind that is actually used in the military. If it is, they are extremely helpful and can be the difference between combat ready and not.

+A process to size correctly, but no readjusting to do later

This is a nice belt. It definitely won't fit any of my regular pants, but it holds up my Valken gen2 battle belt wonderfully. Even if it might take longer than usual to size this belt properly, those giant metal tooth clamps will make sure it doesn't need to get readjusted.

Excellent for holding belt-mounted drop leg holsters and a battle belt all at once.
