This thread adapter will fit on the end of most L96 based airsoft sniper rifles. I think the Tokyo Marui MK96 has an entirely separate adapter though. Regardless, I had a hard time at first because it was difficult to screw it on super tight on the end of the barrel. Sometimes it would come off with the suppressor/other barrel extension.
My advice is if you have this problem, you can use a knife to screw it on extremely tightly. Same can be done if you want to unscrew it.
Pros:
Does what is necessary, allows the barrel extension to fit
Cons:
Hard to keep on the end of the barrel if not screwed on tightly, my personal experience was that it hurt my fingers to screw it on tightly.
