"The gun is really good and it shoots pretty hard. The burst fire is really good, but the magazine could be bigger. Totally worth it for 330 and is all metal. Looks really great too.

"Worth the money. The quality of this gun is excellent. Out of the box it is shooting 395 fps accurately. Lots of nice features, folding/ expandable stock, rubber grip, nice rails. With a lipo battery this gun rips. Three round burst was 5 rounds with lipo until I adjusted. Which is nice also. This gun also comes apart real easy to do maintenance. All internal components appear to be good quality, including the turbo 3000 motor. This seems to be a all around nice gun. Thanks ICS and Evike

"*A culmination of my experiences with this rifle thus far*

Picked up one because really, MP5 options are limited these days and I don't quite trust the umarex ones. Build quality wise, this rifle is SOLID. Very good weight. No rattling/looseness in the body.
The split gearbox makes upgrades and general maintenance super easy. (Although setting AOE is a little difficult but still doable)

Electronics: The H2E trigger is quite a good idea. No mechanical contacts, so no burning and switching to lipo won't burn it up. I actually don't see the need for a mosfet (how you would even wire it is an issue) Trigger response is great, ROF with 11.1 lipo is insane, especially after shimming the gearbox and changing to a lightweight, stronger piston and piston head.

ALTHOUGH, be wary if you are going to split the gearbox. The trigger pushes on a small plastic lever, that in turn, pushes on a micro switch to send current to the motor. At some point in my fiddling, my little lever broke off and disappeared. SO. I had to buy a new H2E controller. Evike has them for 40.00. So that sucked.

Magazines are iffy, but I think that can be said for any MP5. The Classic Army mags feed very well and according to some, the matrix mid caps actually work very well too. Have yet to try them myself. The ICS mags that come with the rifle are paperweights at best.

Other than my little gripes, I LOVE this MP5. It was well worth it to me to replace the controller and shim the gearbox (which seems to be pretty good quality)

I would still recommend this to anyone
