Recently purchased and installed on a KJW 1911A1 frame, the slide fits and functions perfectly and gives me a Commander sized pistol with decent high profile fixed sights.
Slide is actually a brushed dark grey color but goes nicely with the matt black of the frame. Fit and finish of the parts are very good, however, the metal barrel and guide rod were not as nicely finished as the slide itself. While they worked just fine, these two parts were replaced with Tokyo Marui parts for a better look.
This is an excellent value and creates all sorts of opportunity for you to mix and match and make your own custom 1911.
