Hidden Gem!!

I dont usually do reviews but had to comment on this gearbox.

At first I was a bit worried when the gearboxes arrived (I bought 4) in a plain brown box with no protection whatsoever! Like a couple other people have stated, the trigger assembly is wonky. I had to replace 3 of the 4, but aside from that minor issue this gearbox is Rock Solid. Mine had an Element Ball Bearing Spring Guide, and an Element Piston and Ball Bearing Piston Head. the gearbox is reinforced, and seals very well. Chrono put the gearbox at 375 FPS with a .25g BB so I think mine arrive with 120 springs instead of the 100 listed.

great gear box m100 spring and the gun shoots 400 fps. i also had the same problem with the trigger after one use the trigger broke and was unusable so had to buy a new one. that has been the only complaint i have on this gear box other wise great bear box very tight.

Mine also came with the trigger assemblly cracked in 3 pieces.

Overall its a decent gearbox.

Airseal nozzle has a o-ring.
2 o-rings on the aluminum cylinder head.
Piston comes with first half poly teeth second half metal teeth.
Ball bearing spring guide.
Mine came shimmed but recomended to get in there and shim it properlly.
Gears are ok.

If u plan on running this gearbox on a 11v lipo and high speed motor your going to need a mosfet.

This gearbox was pretty good for the price. I currently use it with a Matrix magnum 3000 motor.
DO NOT GET this if you dont know how to open and close a gearbox though. Mine came with the piston head loose inside the gearbox and the trigger assembly broken. I had spares so i dont really mind.

well worth the money, installed it in my jg and it greatly improved rps, fps, and accuracy significantly. just understand the description well it states that this is a comlpete set of parts and you will need to shim it . and thats true, order shims with it . I cracked mine open and was in need of some serious shimming. but the quality of parts inside is excellent. i use a jg double eagle high power motor and it works awesome. buy it don't even think twice, you won't regret it.

good gearbox. got this from a local gun doc who runs a parts store. havent had a chance to crono it yet. waiting on a chrony from evike though another local dealer.

performance i can say is good. i have a G&G abs lower reciver on my M16 variant, this box adds enough enough weight in the right place making it closer to real weight without being awkwardly heavy. kinda feels nicer now. as stated its lypo rready for anyone that uses em. i personally liek the Nickle metal hydrates for the low maintenance to both battery and gun internals
